What's the consensus on this thing? is it even good?

What's the consensus on this thing? is it even good?
Why is every new vehicle catering to the "sporty soccer mom" group?

>Chevy
>GM

Put 2 and 2 together.

Wow, it's fucking shit.

>electronic parking brake prone to failure under excessive use ?
so just prone to failure then ?

Astra with a bodykit. Not great, but not terrible either and offers good value (in yurop at least).

14 FUCKING CUPHOLDERS AMERICA COME ON

>parking brake fails if you use it
>this is now acceptable for roadworthiness

Looks promising mechanically but it suffers from shitty modern car design

This!
What the fuck, doesn't this thing seat 5, why the fuck would it have 14 cupholders?

>Europoors mad because they get no cupholders while we get all of them

>You don't know my needs!

>tfw your Miata has 4 cupholders

Because those are the people who are buying new cars.

There is probably 2 in the rear, 2 up front, 1 in each door, rear pull down, glove box maybe, rear hatch thing?

I dont know.. must be a typo

>tfw my Subaru family wagon only has two shitty fold out cupholders that drip condensation all over everything

fug

Doesn't look like a typo. Apparently the hatch was "designed for tailgates"

Where are these built? I mean it's just a rebadged Opel.

Russelsheim, Germany apparently

>parking brake prone to failure
>suspension rattle?!

Holy shit GM.

I feel your pain man. 350Z does not like you to take drinks with you.

>parking brake failure cause
>excessive use
Are these people ripping sikk skidz with their brake or wht?

>ever buying GM

>trying to rip sikk skidz with an electric brake

> parking brake is a button or switch
> leave it on and drive off
> ignore chimes and warning signs because woman
>"O M G my car just broke"

Joke all you want, this is going to actually happen.

Drove one

They're quite nice

The new Civic blows all other cars in this class out of the water

This will go out of style in 3, maybe 4 years tops.

are they planning to make a competitive version to contend the FoST, GTI, ect?

hard to tell, doesnt seem like it has too much power.

>less than 200hp turbo engine in the north American market for a car that can take a 2.5l

If they decide to bring over the OPC/VXR, maybe.

>tfw no ecoboost

bro you know ecoboost is just a mazdaspeed engine

They can pull the 200hp 1.6 out of the Corsa VXR or de-tune the 280hp 2.0 in the Astra VXR. The latter would be easier to keep reasonably powerful despite being weighed down because muh emissions.

Don't they already use the 2.0 in the Regal (Insignia rebadge)? Pretty sure it makes 270 in there or something.

Most people's parking brake cables are seized because they never use them.

Real pic for comparison.

jesus christ, it's like the failed abortion of 2 crossovers

Looks like a fucking prius.

>Muh single cup holder

not as bad asbut still absolutely disgusting

Do they still sell the i3 turbo in america or they finally realize that they are objectively worse than their na engine.

It was doomed from the start

The Cruze is a rubbish car.

>Cruze
>'Astra with a body kit'
Wrong. I'd rather an AH Astra over a Cruze, at least all my electronics won't suddenly die on me and require the entire car to be replaced.

No seriously, the new one's an Astra with a bodykit.

Did some research, you're right. Shit, how did they manage to fuck up one car so badly when there's others on the same platform with less issues?

more cupholders=more tasty drinks

>that high floor

Nice one GM.

drink less sugar you fat fuck

>implying it's in style right now

It's still a fantastic car despite the hideos rear end.

This is Amerika

no, this is obesity.

drink some water and shit senpai

Bring the diesel!
