Alright, I dont fully understand Ceridwen. When you evolve her, she summons "of your highest-cost followers...", so if you have a Dark Angel Olivia to put your evolve points to 3, it will always summon her unless you have another 9 drop?

It summons the random highest cost follower that you've had die. This isn't hard to understand. If you have multiple dead 9 cost dudes, it will pull one at random. Like the card says. No, Fanfare effects do not apply as they only work when you cast the card from hand.

It's not just about mana, traditionally going first is a huge advantage in card games because you get to dictate the pace of the game and the player who goes second can only attempt to interact with what you do

All RNG in shadowverse can be manipulated to effectively be not RNG.
If a rune uses a fire chain and fails to kill anything that's because he failed to manipulate the board to make fire chain a board clear, which is incredibly easy to do.

Look at spreading madness in hearthshit. That targets all characters not just followers so it's still just RANDOMISFUN LOL XD HAHAHAHHAHA bullshit.

Lord of the flies is the only truely hearthshit-esque RNG card in the game.
