Are there any tips to using the Wheel effectively? I want to use it on my arcane character. Kind of feel like Defiled Watcher isn't the best boss to cut my teeth on this weapon with.

Use Uncanny version if you can get your hands on it.. If you don't already have 25 STR and can get up to 25, do it. Transformed dash r1s are great. Be sure to watch your health bar and remember to rev.

Uncanny is in one of the cursed and defiled pthumeru root dungeon, right? I actually can't get to it until I beat the watchdog in the dungeon I'm in now, and I can't get to that one until I beat this watcher. Maybe I should just use my saw spear for now and save the wheel lesson for later.

Untricked sword is shit, Saws beat it. Use tricked mode, or ditch it for something better. Gems, weapon upgrades, and Str/Skl (or Arcane) determine your damage.
