They are having the some Kingsglaive cutscenes in the game itself, so you're good just watching Brotherhood and then playing the game.

The dialogue just walking around ingame and listening to the radios really boost the lore, so try not to skip any of it.

Notable 3*s includes: Garland, 4 Cecil, 2 Zidane, Hayate, Bow guy from Type-0, Sword guy from type-0, some silver haired, ponytail chick with a scythe, some BE unit with blue hair and a spear (I think the guy who died recently in global?), some BE unit with white hair and a red jacket, 2 of some black mage garbed BE unit, and some kickass looking dwarf dude with a 108 ATK earth hammer TM
Overall, aside from FOUR FUCKING Rikku, I'm doubtful anyone will want this one.

I have Maria's BSSB and Minwu's instant Curaga, and I think I would probably use Gordon for breakdowns unless I'm forgetting a dancer. Should I just RW Sheepsong or Divine Guardian?

II CM is only eclipsed by Ifrit CM in difficulty. You need too much shit and have to rely on SLEEP PROC RATES against the Ogres.

If you want something to go with Maria, bring Focus and put Faith on Maria. 1st command should hit 5 times. Bring Leon for backrow Gaia Cross and Magic Lure with Gigas Armlet equipped. Don't bother with regen. You need as much RES mitigation as possible.

II doesn't have Ninjas. He's asking for CM strats.

Yeah, I like that I can potentially get a Dual Wield Dark Veritas thanks to these 8 Zidanes (or two Dual Wields by combining two sets of 4).

One of the current cheese strategies against the latest trial boss involves 3 Rikkus with auto-revival chaining. Multiple Rikkus are a good thing.

But aside from double Gilgamesh, the account looks pretty meh.

Stella is STILL the most interesting female FF character, even without being in a game. That short sequence with her discussing Etro and engaging Noctis in combat in the original Versus trailer is STILL superior to anything storywise I have seen in FF.

In my opinion, Fabula Nova Crystalis is still the greatest Final Fantasy story every told, with Type-0 STILL beating every other FF in story (hands down) and the sheer epicness of its characters thanks to its strong FNC backbone. Distancing FFXV from FNC was a huge mistake and Nomura forsaw this. Now that people finally have the game, I guarantee you they would have probably played Versus XIII over what it became with XV. ie, no coherent story at all.

Thanks, I didn't realize it was that difficult. I've cleared the XIII CM, and a regular clear of the new III dungeon. I know I can't CM Ifrit, but I should be able to just get a regular clear of II with Phatasm and a pile of mages.

Firion and Maria BSB make the CM easy mode. If you have neither, you are fucked.

np, hope you find it useful. It definitely has a lot more options, but I can't help but think a single Dual Wield Dark Veritas is the best option. I still got Rikku, Amelia, and Blanc, so I'm pretty happy with it.

Just remember that when the Apollo Harp weapon comes out with that Hero's Rime skill attached to it, that the boss who guards it is literally immune to Water/Dark/Light damage(meaning those Tidus/Orlandu/Agrias/Veritas of the Dark is nigh useless here) and is weak to Thunder/Fire so rev up your Lightnings/Balthiers/Knight Delitas/Ashes/Veritas of the Flames.

Sadly though there is no harp unit for me to use that overpowered harp with unless it is Sarah...

I wonder why did RK went the route with Refia as a monk instead of a white mage as WoFF/IIIR's opening FMV/BE did? Maybe the staff of RK liked Refia's monk design more than her white mage one?

Toblerone should be pretty easy to set up once you have +2 Crushing Blow (which equals -175% lightning resist on that boss).

The latest exploration has craftable +60 attack lightning elemental Katana. You can slap those alongside a good non-elemental weapon on your favorite chainer like Orlandu, Agrias or D.Veritas and get retarded lightning elemental chains while enjoying a +175% damage multiplier.

As far as Lightning damage goes, that leaves Rikku, Ashe and Blanc's Light/Lightning Imperil as potential damage.
