You just have to take apart the sentence if you don't get it. Sometimes there are accents and things that just exist to give you a sense of tone. And when all else fails use context.

Not true. It only seems that way because Anglosphere dominates the world and you see and hear English everywhere. It can be a very expressive and complex language. English and American poetry is sublime.
And phonetically it's not that simple. There's 8 different ways of spelling 'a' for example, depending on the accent.
Japanese is actually not that difficult gramatically. The lack of certain functions we're used to (like plural forms) is strange, but only makes it easier. The REAL difficulty is, of course, learning all the goddamn fucking kanji.

Judging by this, nothing has been translated.

I just looked at the patch myself. Looks fine to me. You probably fucked up when using rpgmakertrans and overwrote the patch with fresh files from the game.

No, seriously, it shouldn't be too much.
For example item file (at least for version 1.22a) has only ~150 items. If every moon speaking user translated just 5 lines we would need only 30 anons to have fully translated items for this futa game.

I can't tell if you are trying to make a joke or if you are just a native english speaker.

English is easy. Try applying the french subjonctif (that 40% of native speakers fuck up) or try conjugating verbs in german (which is much harder than "muh irregular verbs").
And if you think that the four grammatical cases in german (how many are there in english again *cough*) are difficult, then have fun learning the 6 grammatical cases in russian.

Unless it's a github contribute kind of thing, organizing people would be hard.

Even more so when there's no coherrent consistency in the translation due to the nature of the project.
