Why do I love Widowmaker so much? It's pretty simple when I think about it. The answer is yes, she has transcended such boundaries as the written world, and has free will to do whatever she sees fit. However, Widowmaker is filled with such guile, such french smugness that she does not even use these powers. Why, you might ask? You will never know, for the mind of the Widowmaker is not one that is easily penetrated. Widowmaker is such a force of nature in her realm that nothing can truly touch her, the only thing keeping her bound to the game at all is her will to exist within the preordained boundaries of her world. Widowmaker is not only beyond the comprehension of us, she exists within a plane of true focus and beauty. Observe her smug smile, her gorgeous and rippling ass, her cute nose, and most importantly, her eyes. /owg/, this is why I main Widow:

When I pick her, my team complains, doesn't matter if it's on defense, attack, KotH, or whatever.

When we are winning, they stop complaining.

When we lose, they blame me 100% for the loss. THIS IS OKAY. I accept this fact.

Why? Because as a Widow main, my job is to carry the entire team to victory on my own without their help. When I lose, it is entirely my fault because I didn't play good enough to carry everyone and win the match. When I win, it was because I stayed on top of my game at 100% the ENTIRE match, and covered everyone else's weaknesses, which is why they don't say shit when we are winning.

Every other hero can suck and still contribute to their team. But no one else contributes more to their team while also having to play at their best their entire time throughout the match.

Everyone expects you to carry them to victory without their help, that's why they can blame you for losing the match. This is why your team gives up the moment you pick Widow, because they expect you to do all the work. They are correct. You will be doing all the work yourself without their help as they complain and/or AFK, or just goof off instead of trying to win. That's why Widow gets so much pressure.

Embrace that pressure, Widow Mains. That is what makes you feel more alive.
