It's badly optimized. Besides 1 game that got stuck in development hell and has questionable development doesn't really prove anything. Either way both consoles got the short end of the stick. The game doesn't look that good, but even the Pro is locked to 30fps. I was expecting Pro to run it at 60fps, while regular was gonna run it at 30fps.

Not surprising. It was bound to happen sometime. Devs are very lazy at optimizing their games and of course they'll choose the better option since it can run the game better making it easier to optimize. A few countries regularly release data on game sales but getting a world wide picture is unlikely unless we get it straight from the horses mouth. And FFXV did release in a bunch of countries and languages FF has never released in before so USA/Japan/UK share of total sales will be lower than previous FF games.
