People hate comic characters appearing in anything besides the comics for ultimately retarded reasons.
It's complicated, the comic tries to show that WIly has a good side he sometimes has to fight against to remain convicted in his evil. His relationships with Light is... complex. They act like spurned lovers.
But this comic takes place well into the future of the Mega Man series, since Wily uses the Chaos Emeralds to move his timeline forward so he'll have more knowledge and resources, since at the time in the comic he has lost almost everything except a giant untrustworthy ancient space supercomputer. So by that time, Mega Man had already tried to kill Wily, so there's not a lot of reason for Wily to show such mercy anymore.

Sonic is literally the embodiment of chaos, as in no matter how much Eggman tries to plan against it, somehow, Sonic always gets all these last minute saves and improbable rescues, throwing him out of the plane would be a good way to kill someone if Sonic wasn't around, whose chaotic aura gave Shadow the random opening he needed to save Light

That's a bit of a blanket statement, he doesn't hate AoStH, just dismisses it as silly kiddy stuff. Which is fair enough, though he doesn't really discuss the later episodes such as those done by TMS which were actually pretty decent.
As for SatAM, I honestly think he's blinded by nostalgia because even if you like the show 'Too good' isn't exactly what I'd call it.
At any rate, I think we should all know Doug has rather bad opinions, and worse still, he thinks he actually has a good point. Not to say he can't be right but that he's a person who greatly overestimates his own cleverness.

Everyone focuses on the level design for this demo even though it's just to show off the physics. That team should hurry up on their real first level because everyone thinks they want to make a open world game.

Everyone focuses on level design because even if the physics work and they have a control scheme that isn't retarded or aspects of the gameplay locked behind a bad gimmick like Mach Mode in GHZ, it can still end up shit if the levels suck and don't utilize the physics.

Because Sonic Team is already good at making fun levels with good set pieces. They just need better controls and physics
