Because I find it to be the most fun fighting game, where I am the most rewarded for my footsies / neutral work and godlike reads.

I genuinely don't understand people who has SFV has shit neutral. No other game has such a focus on whiff punishing. On average like 30% of my damage in every round comes from whiff punishing, it's how I get the lead and keep it.

In sf4 the normal were too fast and the online too laggy for whiff punishing to work. In bb/gg you start most combos with some airdash or special move shenanigans.

I never liked SF4 that much. Its art was gross looking, the characters movements looked stupid and jerky, and the gameplay was bland compared to 3. After Capcom tried to sell us Super I quit the series. Seeing everyone whine about FADC and Focus just sounds like everyone got too comfy with 4, not realizing they are experiencing what all the 3rd strike players experienced when 4 came out.

With 5 everyone sort of resets back to zero with the new fight system. And yes, while the art isnt much better at least the movement is way more fluid and easier to look at.

SF4 also has shit music. This made playing at locals really suck.

Sakura will never make it imo, only weebs care about that character. If they don't introduce a muay thai fighter next season I expect Sagat to be the first S3 character. We might just see 1-2 returning characters each season or maybe they'll alternate between entire new character seasons and returning favourite seasons.
