I spend as much of my coins and SPLithium as I can before I log out. That way I can keep sending my fighters on expeditions to generate more free coins instead of having them defend.

They've been fairly permanent to me, try to make sure they're not already on one of your fighters or maybe they are bugged or disappear if you delete a fighter with them on.

The only thing I want from the game is not losing gear when guards get kidnapped so there's actually a reason to set up defenses. Im not going to waste 100k getting armor and weapons for all the guards when half of them get captured and lose everything

No, just take them off defense first and then select it from the freezer. I get the best results running consequent 1-hour missions while I play, then a 6 or 12 hour mission when I log off.

Don't level Stamina first if it only gives one or two points. If you find yourself never really getting exhausted it won't help you at all.
