Check the dungeon page on the wiki, it'll tell you how much gil you should have gained in an area.

Basically each dungeon has two zones and you'll have to run out of enemies in both of them.

The random battles are pulled from a predetermined set. There's usually two areas where you'd get around 15 battles each and after that you'll get no more battles.

So as said, you do all of them.

Use the wiki, each exploration is divided into two halves and each half has an encounter limit determined by the amount of gil you can get.

FYI the multiplier on those commands for Lightning is so low you're better off using Dismissal instead of Command 1 for same result with more damage.

And I even contemplated doing a last 50 draw on it before it ends.
