BW & BW2 were amazing games. XY was a step back IMO. Sun/Moon seems to have realized this and brought back the better story (and a version of the avenue thing).

I always thought event pokemon were dumb.
How am I supposed to catch them all if they are only available every five years.

i guess i just wasnt into them. i didnt like many of the new pokemon introduced (like the new gen 1 evolutions) and the region just had weird layouts, story felt like the enemy groups had to destroy the world or something which is boring, and minor/assisting NPCs were boring to me. also i dont like the sprite/design of things. it didn't hit me right.
gen 2 was my favorite but i didn't like hg/ss either. i loved gen 3, skipped t gen 4/5 then in xy/oras i got really into it ,even completed a living dex. now on my way to complete the moon pokedex.
maybe i should give those games another shot.

I had a great idea today

Under-Life, Undertale crossed over with the 1998 Half-Life

You play as frisk of course, with the fabulous MET suit (or in other words, you wear mettaton.) It would talk to you like in the original game but with Mettaton's illustrious voice.

The scientist would be Gaster, Alphys, Sans, and one other character I suppose.

Papyrus, would be Barney of course, seems all to fitting, especially with who the military should be. (If you didn't know, as far as I remember, Barneys are supposed to be MPs, or Military Police.)

The military/hgrunts would be the royal gaurd, including Undyne, the two royal guards, and any of the dog knights.

The xenians would be amalgamates, for example, the memory head would be the headcrab. It would "amalgify" the scientist it grabs onto, as headcrabs zombify scientists in Half-Life.

G-man could be either chara or Flowey, Flowey may be more fitting, serving a higher power which would be chara.

It's too perfect really.

The story in BW/BW2 was a joke, I never understood the praise it got. Nothing about Team Plasma made any sense, and N was a terrible character.

XY's story wasn't any better, but at least it was simple and easy to ignore.

The trial captains and Team Skull are pretty fun in Sun/Moon, but I hope Ultra Beasts go away forever.
