Could anyone please tell me if I've done something wrong with my chlorophyte farm been idle for about 7 hours and this is all that's spread. Playing on android just for the fact I can't catch a break to sit my ass at pc.

Am I deep enough for maximum spreading potential?

If it works the same as on PC, then there's a limit on how much Chlorophyte can grow within an area, which means your 5x5 blocks need to be about 37 tiles apart. You also need to be in the cavern layer for maximum growth, and I can't tell if that's the case from your screenshot. Depth Meter would tell you.

The easiest thing to do is just build the farm in the Underworld.

Crimson vs Corruption

Which do you prefer and why?

Corruption because

>easier enemies = less annoyance
>ample access to wrath potion ingredients

All I want from crimson is to duck in and get some vampire knives in an alternate world and maybe seed an artificial desert for some ichor.

Just use a pyramid with pumps. it's slow, but it werks.

Make a sonar potion so that you catch only what you want. It'll make the most out of the bait you have,

But even the wyverns form the 1st tier of the DD2 event can pass through walls. And you can activate traps and other stuff with switches and levers i order to make it harder for the DD2 enemies to get to the crystal.

They were too lazy to balance the event with basic game mechanics.

i managed to get a titanium set and the forbidden armor plus titanium tools out of 100 wood, 50 iron and 20 gold, you have way more than enough.

Will they deliver on promises they said years ago? Will random monster parts be expanded? Will low level planets get high level versions? Will combat be updated to be less bland? Will vehicles with different functions be implemented? Will we be able to capture other monsters used to be able to (Poop, Moontants, etc)? Will the code look less shit, and be easier to mod? Will it be optimized and not have that chunk loading bullshit anymore?

The last time they had a "big" update was when they added the story and ruined most reasons to ever go back to low level planets, and that was horseshit. I still have a tiny sliver of hope that the game will receive a massive polish update, but that sliver of hope is as small as Ant Man at the end of his movie.

I farmed this fucking thing for 4 hours on my other character

Made a new world about a month ago, here's how it went with my luck;
>Blood Moon day 3, got two Money Trough
>Got all swords for Night's Edge by day 7, three Muramasa
>Got Starfury when floating near a flying island I didn't even see with initial gravitation potions
>Found the Mechanic and Goblin Tinkerer in the same room
>Found the Wizard in the same room as the above two, but after hard mode started
>First kill of Normal Moon Lord got me Star Wrath, my favorite weapon
>Second kill got me The Terrarian, my second favorite weapon
>Went to expert mode, started Hardmode as soon as I KOed every normal boss
>Three basilisk mounts, back to back kills
>Scutlix and UFO mounts in first martian invasion

About the only bad luck is that I killed the Cultist boss 50+ times, and STILL don't have the fucking trophy

The only real problem with WoF is being ahead of it, having a long straight bridge, because if you trip up or slow down and it's on low hp, you'll get wrecked very easily.

Spam beenades with the bee armor and accessories. That's one way. Or use something that pierces through the hungers and hits WoF, like Demon Scythe. It's more useful in Expert, because as I've noticed they spawn more frequently.

What accessories should I be using as a summoner?

Whatever you want for movement (I use wings + master ninja gear), Summoner emblem, Papyrus Scarab, Pygmy Necklace, and one of the accessories from Old One's Army like Squire's Shield. Maybe substitute out the old one's army accessory with a survival-oriented accessory (like charm of myths or star veil).

I don't know how good this advice is, but it worked for me.

Here ya go
You can get 5 sentries and 4 minions if you pop a summoner potion and bewitching table. You can ditch the Spore Sac and the Ankh Shield for a Necro Scroll and something else for 5-6 summons but I just like the look of the spores and no knockback/debuffs is nice.
And Expert cause it's fun.

Found this a few minutes into my hard mode, expert run.

These runs usually last about half an hour before I die to a boulder or something. I'm going to have to be careful, aren't I?

Play it like it's your last time

Pro tip: if you keep dying to boulders, keep a pressure plate in your hotbar and occasionally hold it in hand when you're exploring in some area, whenever possible. It indicates wiring on the entire screen. Or just pay attention.

I mostly enjoy the early game and I ended up deleting most of my worlds after getting so far, or after I end up quitting once.

Hard mode makes me value my save a little more, and on the rare occasion that I don't die in one run, I tend to enjoy picking back up on it later.

The Squire and Valhalla sets let you tank anything because of its high defense and life regen, it's nuts.
And with vampire knifes it's so easy to stay alive.
