Daily'd a 11' G25X last winter wasn't so bad, 0 rust but the drive by wire was a bit laggy when slamming the peddle all the way which is pretty common in most G-series

If your altima has a V6 it's obviously faster than a G25 since they have around 215HP
Similar Sentra Spec-V's? They aren't as quick as the the G25x or V6 Altima but I bet it'd be more fun than the G25x since it has an LSD and a manual gearbox which you can't get in G25x or G37x
I'm not sure if the Sentra has a similar issue with the drive by wire

No, but I read a lot of complaints about the thing having engine knock sounds and serious engine block problems. It's a shame because the Sentra is zippy and has the shifter mounted on the dashboard in that configuration that I don't know the name for but it gets me hard.

You can get an old car without rust, just not for $800. That car is not that bad, the floor and frame are perfect, it's just got some rough quarters and rockers. But, it's an $800 AE86, what do you expect?

There's no such thing as rustproofing, you can inhibit it or slow it down but there's not much you can do with salt or magnesium chloride and 30 degree temperature swings.

When you pay for the $800 "rustproofing" at a dealership all they're doing is spraying on a thin coating or a couple cans of fluid film. Same goes for the $800 interior protection package, it's just a $20 can of scotch guard.
