Sloppy transmission matched with a timed bomb.

But hey, it is a AWD™ so why not.
>Every subaru owners

Turbo models don't suffer from HG issues if that's what you were referring too

headgasket meme affects 2.5 engines m8

i have the n/a version, no problems with it so far, but it's soooo slow, that turbo might fix the problem tho

60:40 front wheel bias

at least he's gonna comfortably understeer into the ditch instead of spin out and die the first time he tries a mad skid

Subarus still understeer with the 50:50 that you get in a manual unless you stiffen the rear sway bar

like I did :^)

I dont really care for subaru. But after driving and riding in a forester in rain, snow, dirt, muds, rocks, inclines, etc.
Their AWD is pretty damn impressive.

dont forget a lot of wind noise on the highway thanks to frameless windows

I've got the 2.5 xt Manual.
Love it, very fun and super pratical. I've used it for everything from super long trips to hauling wardrobes to track days.

Also been really reliable in the 20,000 miles i've put on it.

Here's a video of a guy who knows what he's doing

I know the Forester is great in snow for the majority of the time, that's one of the reasons why I'm in the market for another one.
I just posted mine because somebody mentioned understeering into ditches.

Bigger anti roll bars fix that

I learned that after I got back home and looked up something along the lines of "how 2 un-understeer subaru forester."

Does a rear strut bar have the same effect?

a fun car.

They help but mainly just with the flex of the big boxy back.
biggest help is anti roll bars and lowering the car. Also good tyres.
