Needs more rotors.
>Rotor deactivation when

Am saving up now just in case i want to buy it when it comes out in 2020. I always wanted an FD, but pussied out and bought a new STI instead.

I hope Mazda doesn't fuck it up.

Owning one is my only long term goal at the moment, since I know the Toyota Supra will turn out shitty.

I actually hate it. The hood is too long, too huge for the tiny rotary engine that's the main feature. The window space is nonexistent. It seems stupid.

>inb4 75% of hood covers the cooling system for massive tarbos

>what is a concept car

They all look retarded as concepts, then they fix them for release

They just want people to go "oooooo, aaaaaaa" when they first see it.

E-Type proportions. Done better. Hoping it's a 3 rotor turbo with a 6 speed manual, and that Mazda puts in a well built interior for once.

Disclaimer: biased, I own an FB.

Looks terrible but I look forward to seeing what they do with the new engine improvements they've been pumping money into.

The RX-Vision was just that: some designer's vision. The real RX-9 will be shorter, have realistic mirrors, and (hopefully) have smaller wheels. Once they actually release the final design for it will any visual critiques be relevant.

>The hood is too long, too huge for the tiny rotary engine that's the main feature
6 rotor maybe?

>oil leaking
>gas guzzling
>apex seal blowing
>underpowered
>wankel fucking rotary engine
>in a gorgeous shell
>for $50K or more
i'll fukken buy one

>too huge for the tiny rotary engine
That's because the rotary is dead

ITT: retards who think a concept will look anything like the finished product

so the hood is meant to be like a casket?

nah m8 it just means there'll be enough room to drop a LS1 in there

The hood needs to be longer and the cabin needs to be moved back further

Needs more rotors

How much power would that even effectively make

Good god why

It's a 3 x 4 instead of a 1 x 12 but 12 rotors none the less:

neat
I have wondered about how boats get around propeller cavitation tho
gets me thinking that hp is not really a priority

no dont buy the new rotary car if you actually chose a subaru over an fd. you wouldnt deserve it

hold on

>Did you know that the FD RX-7, one of the most legendary Mazdas ever, made do with just two rotors? Please. Even the Eunos Cosmo, a car at which we can only gaze from afar, had just one more rotor than that.
2+1 = 3.
>To match the creation that Tyson Garvin has created, you would have to multiply the Eunos Cosmo's rotors by three, then add three more rotors.
3*3=9, 9+3=12
>Then divide that by four, then add five more rotors.
12/4=3, 3+5=8
>Then take away two, because you've gone too far.
8-2=6
>And then you'll have
SIX ROTORS.

>5,000 horsepower

I'll get one if it's around $50k.

Honestly how good is that? Can't smaller Veeates get comparable or more horsepower?
