nature abhors a vacuum.
define "best" and "government"

probably tribalism or a Feudal Monarchy.
The separation of powers in a Feudal system is real and isn't some faux "administrative magic".

Asiatic theocracy.

Small population (essential) governed by representative democracy, voting rights based on merit.

If the population is too large like the USA it becomes ungovernable, at least in a manner that people will be satisfied.

Aristocratic Republic with Protestant state religion

It's a philosophical thread

Federal Republic

Ideally, it should have a confederate lean, with the federal government mostly handling national defense.

Hey man, those Enlightenment fellows got some things right.

CITY STATE REPUBLICANISM

City state aristocratic republic with a protestant religion in which the doge is also the head of the church.

Constitutional Monarchy

can be monarchy, aristocracy, oligarchy, or democracy for any purpose without a need for revolution

Want big focused policies with cult of personality? no prob there's already a monarch in the throne.

Want a gov of the people to answer the people's demands and will? no problem the people can choose to create the policies and officials to direct them.

What's that? don't want one distant official ordering everyone but also don't want ignorant masses being ignorant all over the place? no problem there's already permanent Lords that were trained since birth in matters of statesmanship.

Constitutional Monarchy, for all your governing needs.

The one where I call the shots but get saved/held back in areas that I am incompetent in

look at the current constitutional monarchies.
>3rd world shitholes
>refugee infested european countries (UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden)
>Canada

only country that isin't a total disaster is Japan

>"3rd world shitholes"
>implying UK is a refugee infested shithole
>implying Canada is also a shithole

You realise, that all of those countries you mentioned are 1st world, right?

1st world means they're aligned with NATO, 2nd world means they're aligned with the Warsaw Pact and 3rd world means they're exclusively neutral.

Examples of rich. developed 3rd world countries is Switzerland.

I don't know where you learn your information but I have great forethought that you are in fact, a retarded American.

>>only country that isin't a total disaster is Japan
>Asset Price Bubble: The Country
>not a total disaster

None of them,

What works for another society/culture/group wouldn't be the same for another society/culture/group. Waving a government over all others is completely retarded. And is often the cause of many social disasters right now (i.e. "failed democracies").

A republican democracy with a landholding requirement for suffrage, no income tax, but there is a tax on land, ensuring that the people voting are definitely the ones paying taxes and deciding the policy (as compared to how it is in some modern democracies today)

Also important in the government is that there needs to be a very clearly defined bill of rights for all citizens (not just voting citizens), as well as a constitution that gives the government only those powers which it directly states, with none of the funny business of America's "necessary and proper" sort of clauses.

Generally though, the system of government does not matter so much as the public life itself and the general attitude among the people, see how Nazi Germany quickly became a totalitarian sort of state without so much of a peep because of how pissed the German people were.

Also no standing armies, only citizen militias (preferably consisting only of landholders). The ideal state wouldn't be trying to conquer its neighbors, and therefore would only need an army when it was being attacked.

Meritocracy or constitutional monarchy.
