It's because glyph has to scan your running processes and do a bunch of other shit to ensure you aren't hacking. Then when the client starts up the glyphcrash whatever the fuck hooks onto the client instead of AA.

I've never played AA but I want to give it a try with this release and the fresh start servers. Assuming I ever get to actually play, due to the retarded queues and crashing during char creation, my question is: What's a good class combination to use if I want to be a melee dps warrior type of character? Or maybe something that'd be like a paladin in WoW where I beat the shit out of mobs and can kind of heal myself too.
