Game is not much like pso1. It's more so like psu, but even that's stretching things.

It will come in 3000 years.

Latency is fine outside of certain time attack things. Other than that, you literally will not care.

The game is more or less structured the same way: meeting up with players in a lobby, going down to free fields for questing, hunting for rare drops and what have you

The particulars of all of it are quite different though

The game's combat system, after fifteen years of iterating, is much faster and arcadey now with animation cancels and fancy moves and what have you. Mastering the manual timing on defensive/evasive steps/rolls is a thing, there's really nothing like the psuedo-RNG evasion that previous games had.

Emergency Quests are periodic events that pop up every now and then (randomly and/or prescheduled) which range from more or less regular quests with a time limit (and 11 other people) to "raids" against gigantic bosses like Dark Falz. For good or ill a lot of the game's focus is on these.

People have been playing PSO and PSU for over a decade because they're designed for longevity, PSO2 will probably die out before the end of Sega's ten year plan unless the game gets redesigned.

Sorry lad, was asleep. It's a Caseal that's using Lamia face, legs and body. I can't remember the name of the arms and it's also using SORO's cape. Head part is Wigner, I think.

Also forgot to mention to cover the lips that Lamia face gives; I'm using a black mask that has been adjusted.

Literally the only thing that bothers me about this is that the visor is part of a hairstyle, not a standalone accessory.

I didn't like PSU anywhere near as much as PSO but id still disagree with this. The only thing that was a disaster was the NA servers because Sega of America is completely incompetent. I know a lot of people that played on the Japanese servers until they shut it down, and is till know a lot of people that are dying for a private server to get off the ground. And all of those same people got bored of and quit PSO2 a long time ago.

PSO2 is better in every way. For starters, in PSO1 the best class was FO. It was so good that if you visually tried to imagine it, it would be on top of a mountain and the other two classes would be ants in the valley below it. PSO2 has more variety.

And nothing in that game was hard enough for it to matter anyhow, much like this game.
I would also argue FO was the most boring class to play, the best part of PSO was the special weapons actually having special attacks. I barely ever played FOs because everything else was more fun to play the game with.
