>doritos intensify

Hydrogen powered doritos

What will they think of next?

Soon as in 400 years...

People that live in cuckholes like Europe and California will have cars banned waaayyy before we run out of oil.

my evo runs on e85 or 93 its more convenient using actual gas for now

Peak oil is a meme, we've been told "it's gonna happen within the decade according to specialists" since the 80s.
We keep discovering new deposits and can better access deeper ones with new extraction techniques.

>This somehow changes the fact we can't make more and consumption is still increasing

>he doesn't know about abiotic oil

Rapeseed oil, large swaths of land will have to be focused on producing it, this could revert all the global warming stuff and fix itself.

Go talk to somebody in the O&G sector. We have more than we know what to do with it. Even if the consumption increases people with reserves will be fine for another couple hundred years. People that need their oil shipped in might be in a bit of trouble though.

We will all be dead by the time that happens

All the cucks will be buying hybrids and electrics leaving more oil and fuel for the rest of us.

I do. But the production of it is way more trouble than refining fossil fuels, and the bigger problem is petrochemical synthetic materials. Fuel can be solved. It's the other shit that's going to be a bigger problem.

Yeah, but so what?

As long as it handles well, I don't care if my car is powered by a hundred farting hamsters.

I for one am looking forward to the return of steam cars.

I've been wondering about this to be truthful. The Doble could start from cold in 30 seconds and do modern highway speeds. It was dead quiet, excellent on emissions, and had a great condensor. This was in 1922. With actually good materials we could easily have steam cars doing 90 on the highway, easily, while both dead quiet and highly efficient.

I want to see somebody at least fucking try.

The most annoying thing about alternate fuels and propulsion is that no manufactorer wants to get into it because there is no supply network/infrastructure, and nobody wants to set up supplies because there are no cars for it.
So we're stuck with hybrid cuckmobiles, Tesla's borderline scam and everybody else waiting for someone else to take the lead.

plus, steam engines require loads of dials and that's my fetish

Aww jizz

Also oil ain't running out anytime son

The thing about Tesla is that I believe that Musk genuinely wants proper electric cars to be a thing, and is putting whatever he can behind the company to force the market segment into being at whatever cost to him that might be. Sure, the cars kinda suck, and the infrastructure is in its infancy, but it's better than it would be if he had never done it. It's hard to tell how far along the big guy's EVs would be without Musk kicking the market open though and I readily admit that but competition is never bad.

But electric torks are fun, user. Haven't you ever driven a golf cart before?

I'm still really fucking mad at hydrogen.
It could be great if it was simply allowed to happen.

We even get a choice between fuel-cell and combustion (even conversions of existing engines) with it. Fuck I'd love hydrogen to be a thing.

>solenoid valvetrain hydrogen conversion heads
Sign me the fuck up.

>it won't be allowed to happen because the USA need to keep petrol expensive or face quick and massive devaluation of the dollar
>my face

>mfw running a diesel on vegetable oil

>No, I don't know about abiotic oil

>USA
>petrol
>expensive
>The United States of FREEDOM IS IN DANGER IF I HAVE TO PAY MORE THAN TWO BUCKS A GALLON

remember the last 10 times everyone said oil will run out in 5 years?

Bitches don't know about my Fischer-Tropsch-process, turning coal into rubber in dictatorships with access to coal but no oil since the Third Reich, and soon to turn air and water into diesel with the side product oxygen, all that's left is to increase the efficiency at an industrial scale.

>I don't know how the petrodollar works

>tfw in the future enthusiasts won't know the feeling of reving up an NA engine to over 9k revs

>What is ethanol

>oil will run out soon

This expands dong.

E85 is more expensive to produce than gasoline. It also takes away food crops so those prices would rise as well.

POST YFW TEXAS SAVES AMERICA AGAIN

shits gonna be expensive as hell for a long time before it finally runs out, not to mention air quality problems that we have been seeing since the 50'ies. and it won't be 400 years if the requirement for fossile fuels keeps growing as it has been up to this point, which means we should ban asian car ownership to make it happen

I'll just power my cars with fish and chips oil for diesel and ethanol for gasoline/petrol lmao

>not to mention air quality problems that we have been seeing since the 50'ies

You only get air quality problems when you start jamming 10 million people in a place that can realistically support a million.

>which means we should ban asian car ownership to make it happen

Well they're burning leaded gas in shitty polluting 2 strokes, so yeah it would make sense. They also burn fuckloads of coal. But whatever somebody's gotta make my cheap shit.

>I believe that Musk genuinely wants proper electric cars
HAH He fell for it. Point and laugh at this dumb cuck. Musk wants your money, that is all.

GOOD LUCK OIL CHAN!!!

wtf

>m-muh peak oil
We aren't even close. Greenfags will cuck everyone out of ICE via leftist controlled governments before we run out of oil.

>thinks we can make cars without oil
LOL

Its Oil Chan, she is made out of oil!

>tfw the petrol heads convert their engines to run alcohol.

ethanol.

Nitromethane bruh

while ethanol sucks ass for classics and carburetors and mileage, god damn does that octane boost help to make power

>Implying you understand how the world works
>Senpai, we don't even know what will happen in the next 5 years with tech taking over most industries.
>AI is literally on our door steps these days, and they say by 2040 the whole game changes.
>Oil/gas is a technology of the past

>tfw you bought into the methane injection meme
snowperformance.net/Default.asp

This is completely delicious. I will live to see american oil save the world from electric cars. What a time to be alive.

picture iut like horses just beacuase cars came along dont mean horses died they just became a leisure hobbie cars will be the same

>Classics
Flexfuel EFI refit kits will become more and more common. They even offer added power and reliability.
>Carbs
E85 carbs exist. Sure, they aren't flexfuel, but the latent heat of vaporisation on those bastards almost make it like you're running 115-120 octane race gas. Did anybody say low intake air on a blower?
>Mileage
Yeah, that's the big issue - thank fuck for the subsidies. Then again, I'd be more worried about the range than the gas mileage.

The problem with all the things you rebutted with is money. E85 carbs just aren't cheap, and are usually mostly plastic which will inherently deteriorate with age in a much more dramatic way than aluminum.

>oil will run out soon
Peak oil has been crossed in many places, but that doesn't mean oil will run out. What it means is that prices will eventually go up once the fracking supply stabilizes and the current oil producers return to their monopoly ways.

What caused the oil glut was dumping by Iran and its related owned oil companies ahead of Trump taking office. When Obama removed the blocks on iranian oil, they were a bit slow and the prices didn't dip so much. But then the Trump machine a year ago talked about reversing a lot of obama items. So you had iran hedging its bets by selling off. Normally the monopolists would have done price manipulation and got oil back up to $2.99 per gallon in the usa. But iran kept on adding oil to the market to build up their warchest. Or in iran's case, their R&D terrorism chest since asymmetric warfare is very cheap for them to do but expensive to the West countries.

Oh thank fuck. I was worried that I would be able to drive my dream car once I saved up. Thank you so much Texas.

Keep the oil flowing bby
The USA is built on stuff like this

Relax, retard. We aren't even close to exhausting the planet's natural supply of fossil fuels. Scientists estimate about 10% has been unearthed thus far using only the drilling techniques we have available to us at this point in time.

Dude, just think about what sewers will look like in a million years.

According to scientists we haven't consumed anywhere near 50% of the Earth's total oil.

Before, the problem was getting to these deposits in a cost effective manner.
Ever since Fracking was developed we have been able to access much harder to reach deposits.
The Marcellus Shale deposit was estimated to be able to feed America for like 50 years alone before it goes dry.

I doubt even your first reincarnation will have to worry.

We will never run out of oil mate.

Never.

It will simply become too costly to extract what oil is left so they will move to some other resource they can hold us over a barrel and rob us blind for

>.de

Why am I unsurprised

Does this mean I can still afford to buy a muscle car?

There's so much corn I'm not sure it would really matter.

>All the cucks will be buying hybrids and electrics leaving more oil and fuel for the rest of us.

this

err i think the main issue is climate change at this point.

tesla electric engine swaps in muscle cars when?

Not in my life time and maybe in the eurofag land but here in America, we have plenty of oil and aren't gonna run out any time soon.

This.

There have been multiple enzymes discovered that can convert vegetable waste into refinable oil that can be used to make gas and diesel.

Mandatory composting and a few vertical farms and you'll be all set. Set up the infrastructure so there's very little transport to the refinery, use existing rail to/from refinery to transport compost. You'll clean up landfills, reduce waste and make a buck in the process.

Bad!
Goyim can get own hydrogen too easily.

Not a tesla engine but still pretty fast

youtube.com/watch?v=ZAwIsKC7ROQ

Tesla's motors are shit. Blender motors.

That's what we said about the buffalo and almost wiped them off the face of the earth

>Areas in the middle East still are sitting on an idea of oil
>Surveyors report that there are massive deposits of oil in the North America's
>There's practically oil everywhere, but Environmentalist shills won't let anyone drill
>Propagandist who claim we can't drill in certain areas are bought and owned by Saudis
>Electric shills unloading daily propaganda into the media saying that combustion engines are destroying the earth
>Batteries create more waste that's destructive to the environment alone than any other form of pollution
>Global warming was suggested as climate change since actual scientist caught into their bullshit
>All studies pertaining to man and climate change are inconclusive which show that the Earth is in a natural warming state
>Politicians being paid to scare people by saying the oceans will suddenly rise and we'll slowly suffocate to death unless we buy and invest in electric
>But the government and politicians have never lied to us!

Nice stickman.

Cutting down forests for more farmland (not even for food) does not help, never mind the energy used to process it

Biofuels are retarded

>E85
>ethanol
>but muh cheap gas prices
Get rich
There is also cane sugar and other crops

God bless the Deep South.

I REALLY hope we switch over to Hydrogen powered engines. Batteries are so fucking boring and I need explosions making lots of noise as I drive in order to get muh feels

Will this help us keep our muscle cars?
