Do you really keep your bikes in a secret shed in the middle of a forest? like some kind of retared super evil guy?

BANE: OF COURSE.

Living innawoods is neat fampai.

0-4 go to the fair
5-9 keep watching animus

Real talk, how's the 800 r handling winter rides ?
I'm tempted to switch to an xr but the 800r is giving me fuzzy feelings aswell...

kys

But I wanna go to the faaaaaiiiiiir

>it's gonna take more than an hour to get there
>would be there only a couple of hours before it's dark

I'm gonna go there tomorrow early.

Pretty okay user. The small windshield does provide some protection, the heated grips are noice and theres abs which... eh. Its nice if youre doing 100km/h, but if youre going down a steep ramp it will simply going let the bike roll down instead of stopping it, terrifying shit. The engine is what I like the most, very tame but it does go mental after 6k. Id like a real sportsbike with it (800s is meh)

All in all its a nice bike but it has too much of the "ill ruin the bike if I keep riding it in this weather" factor if youre truly looking for a winter hack.

As an overall middleweight naked I think its 7/10. One odd thing is that the pegs are way too far back. Also, factory parts have retarded prices. (way worse than japs). It will only let you down if you try to go too fast with it. Also it does catch looks rather often. People like it.

If I could go back in time Id get something else prolly. Too fancy for me, it made me realise I like shitbikes.

This exhaust setup makes me moist.

What other naked bikes do this?

ur mom lmao

Only other one I know of is the Monster 696

...

What's the point of an adventure bike? Even for the Dakar they adapt enduros, or?

Grandpa tractor

Light tour bikes, comfy position, high and protection so perfect for commuting.
Wouldn't want anything else for my long commutes.

>He doesn't commute on a 645cc liquid-cooled l-twin naked with optional ABS, twin caliper front brakes, EFI and Suzuki's One Touch System all available for under $7k retail

How does it feel to basically ride a DRZ to work?

>l-twin
It's called SV 650
Now, if it were an SL 750, that would be an l-twin

yeah, fucking retard, it's obviously a V

the real sv650s are never coming back. The naked sv650 owners have ruined dbt for eternity.

Your bait is even shittier than that bike.

>light
Just modify an enduro, no?

Ok.

Who's gonna be a sad sack of shit on new year's eve?
I know I am.

FUCK YOU STOP RESPONDING TAKE THE DRZ BAIT

NOOOOOOOO

Light TOUR bike. 250kg isn't light at all.
Also enduros have too much maintenance, I have a service every 10-15k km, which is just basically an oil change.

I'm not, I'm the lucky one that may work both days and celebrate it with my gf so no family bullshit.

Yeah but they're fat. Why ever use them off road?
>inb4 I don't use them offroad
Then why not get a tourer in the first place?

We get back to my first question: what's the point of an adventure bike?
I honestly don't get it.

Again, light tour bike, mine is ~100kg lighter than most tourers. And it's higher. Making them perfect commuter bikes.

I can off road it, and I do use it on a mud road with 1m deep holes, but they're not made for much more.

>sv650 & vstrom
>drz
>gs500
>all underpowered
>all cant turn
>all overweight
Why does suzuki even try?

But you could do both things on a modified enduro or just buy two motorcycles for the same money of a dual sport, a cheap 400/500 for commuting and an enduro.

>SV650
>most powerful 2cylinder bike in it's class

Why do you even try?

What do you mean "can't turn"?
My SV can turn just fine.

An enduro isn't as comfy as my adv bike, nor is it suited for 300 km commutes.

Cheap commuers lack protection and comfort, most are low which sucks.

Also, my adv bike was €3500, not that expensive and I already have barely room for it.

They don't try yet people still buy their shit

>300km commute
What the fuck? Just go live in the place you work at, for fuck's sake.

I live 30km from the office, but I work around the country, currently 160 km from home

The Old Mt-03. Don't know if it ever went to America.

do you mean underseat? The GSR600, FZ6 nad the old street triple do it I think

Underseat is a bonus, but also just symmetrical dual exhausts.

I only see those on tourers

mostly because the flow increase doesn't justify the extra weight

Looks>>>>>>>function

...

it does look pretty filthy though, you have to say, especially with aftermarket exhausts

>harleyspeak

Ignore the nobike yamaha fan boy

>what's the point of an adventure bike?

>fuel range
>50/50 or 60/40 tires
>ability to double track/dirt & gravel roads/good suspension & armor
>also has ability for comfortable highway riding/wind protection
>room to pack camping gear
>reliability, need to be self reliant

That's pretty much it. It's always going to be a compromise between off road ability and comfort on the highways. Nobody wants to ride a dinky enduro bike for 600 km/day, nor does anyone want to wrestle with a 600 pound bike through sand.

KTM does a great job of balancing the two, the 950/990s get pretty close to perfect, IMO.

>tfw picking up new gsxr-750 in a day
Still need decide between the matte black or blue color scheme

fz6 kinda

Black = White > Blue >>>> Red

post both
also how does it work, tomorrow you'll walk in and choose the bike depending on the color?

>pic
RIP suspension

If it was gloss black like last year I'd get the black. Also don't like the red rims. Matte looks like a spray job 10m back
Correct. I've test ridden it and couldn't believe how great it felt. Just walk in and chose which one I want

>It was upon closer inspection that a way more sinister thing appeared

I can HEAR pussies becoming wet just through the existance of this picture

How is that not hetero?
Just two dudes expressing their bromance.

Why are you buying it new?

>considering anything but racing blue
holy shit don't fuck this up user

>this is what europeans save to their hard drive.

why do mechanic videos on youtube makes it seems so easy
half of my wrenching time is looking around for that wrench I just used 5 seconds ago and I swear I just put it there where the fuck did that little asshole went

>what are cuts and outtakes

There should be a couple hundreds of them while I can see just one or two

>americans can't post via url
lmao

Maybe because most of them have a lot of experience? I know most of my time when doing a new task is reading and rereading the manual to make sure I'm not forgetting or doing something wrong.

On special for $15,000 NZD. Second hand for 2009-2012 sell for around $12000.
My gf does like the black more. I felt like it looked like the demo bike was already 5 years old (black)

Personally I love the blue the most. Everyone else seems to like the black more and they've sold majority black this year.

yess blue. black makes it boring
