I finally have a lot of friends playing this game and I'm able to run full teams.
Problem is, I'm plat and every single one of them is silver. And even in quick play they match us up against people who are much closer to my skill level, they constantly complain about how hard it is when they play with me.

They still want to play with me all the time but I'm the one who gets annoyed at how much we lose.

I fucking hate blizards matchmaking. I'm only level 101, but I constantly get matched with 400s and 600s because I guess my MMR is good.

Her gun (and quick melee I suppose) is her only source of damage, all of her other abilities are for positioning and disabling.

I think they want to be careful with her gun because if they make it too powerful she becomes an assassin that can get free picks against supports, collapsing their team.

I do ok with her gun, my tracking and her spread isn't too bad, but its damage is right on the edge of being a real threat.

Other than the comic there's nothing to hint at in-game.

If you're grouping up in 5-6 stacks, you'll get placed against 5-6 stacks, not a grab-bag of solo-Q'ers. Those 5-6 stacks probably have more experience playing together than your groups do.

Encourage your friends to play together and watch some videos on maps (like flanking routes) and hero counters. They ought to be able to climb to gold if they want to.

Level is a function of time played, not skill. At 101 you should be familiar with all maps and hero counters. Check the enemy team's comp rating (press P, right-click their names) before complaining. You'll find there are more lvl 400+ players at Plat or lower than Diamond+.
