Depends heavily on the character. Also if you're playing on Steam, then I'd recommend playing the new GG instead, since the latest version of BB isn't on PC.

One of the best Ramlethal players in GG is a pad player, so it's not impossible by any means.

I wouldn't say babby mode, it's more like, you can just pick up GG and get by with basic stuff, but in BB you need to practice and know all your shit and your chars specific options because there is less universal options, and longer combos required to do damage. Like in GG at low levels you can get by, just by having strong Oki, because even small hits do decent damage, but in BB you need to know your combos as shit to get anything(and oki is weaker)

Guilty Gear is way easier. And now even more with Xrd and Revelator. It got even more boring too, tinier movelists, removing good moves like Sidewinder, yrcs which are too cheap and basically are free cancels. They butchered the characters and made the gameplay so bland.

Meanwhile Blazblue over the years are improving and never gets dumbed down. And the characters' movelists are usually more interesting and versatile in comparison to GG's.

I meant cheap as in it literally costs almost nothing to do. So most of the time the screen is constantly stuttering with cancels. There's really no reason for this, since normal roman cancels are still in the game. And in the previous game FRCs at least took skill/timing to pull off despite being cheap.

Notice how they took away Sol's sidewinder, the only fun thing in his arsenal that actually took timing. Notice how they took away the effect of Potemkin's 2C and gave him trishula which is the most useless impractical shit ever. These devs don't know what the hell they're doing.
