What cities have the biggest guild stores? Everyone I check seems to have inflated prices and barely any stuff.

Merry Christmas, anons!

Xd for maybe Clockwork City trial in the Vvardenfell DLC.
Mournhold, Elden Root, Wayrest, Rawl'kha.
Merry Christmas!

Elden Root and Rawlkha work for me. At least in NA

...

YAGRUM WHEN?

...

Is the Elenwen here the same one as the one in Skyrim? I know Altmer are long-lived but that seems far-fetched.

Yagrum always

So is there a way to skip these lifefest events or at least trick it into giving me the one I want? I just need the Khajiit lockpick one and it keeps sending me off to run with the redguard.

I don't think so, there is also an Elenwen in Morrowind, might just be common-ish name

>didn't join fighter's guild because I'm a wizard
>often see [intimidate] options that would save time
>still don't join even for the intimidate skill because it feels too out of character
At least there's a good amount of [persuade] options.

I have no idea what pic related even did, though. Most Naryu interactions are a bit of a mystery to me. Did they just try to make her a waifu for its own sake?

are poisons ever worth making
i have 900 alkahest and dont know what to do with them

on PC EU Belkarth has literally all the heavyweight guilds

if you PvP or sell them to PvPers, then they are

>couldn't finish a daily before the next day
>hand it in
>get the current day's daily afterwards
That's kinda neat. I was so used to FFXIV where you had to hand in a daily before reset or you couldn't get the next day's. I don't even know when this game's dailies reset.

8 hours from now

You want to join it just so you can start gaining fighters guild skillline exp.

>Did they just try to make her a waifu for its own sake?
that tongslut is no waifu of mine!

I'm way passed Champion 20 and I never got Golden Saint costume. Bug?

relog, check again

Logged in and out multiple times since I passed it.

Well you sure you don't have it? In mail or collections?

any ideas on how to get enchanting from 40 to 50 fast?

Decon dropped glyphs or find a partner to switch crafted glyphs to decon.

Don't forget to put 30 points on The Tower to get 20% inspiration bonus.

Neither. Odd.

Email ZoS. maybe they'll give you free crowns for fucking up.

>wasting Sotha Sil on a trial
Boo

What else can you do, it is a dungeon after all.

It's not just a dungeon silly. It's an actual city.

thanks for the tips, in the end I bought a load of purple crafted 150cp glyphs from 200g - 500g and deconstructed them, got to 50 easier than I thought
now on to creating some tri-glyphs

How many did you need?

What's a good way to raise alchemy quickly?

around 40, it was netting me 30k each decon

make potions

That's it, that's the last fucking drop, I'm out of here for good. This worthless shit dank hole that is /teso/ isn't worth my fucking time anyway. I did not come here with the intention to shitpost or circlejerk or whatsoever, but it seems people can't fucking deal with an opinion. But who the fuck am I kidding I have not ever seen someone on here who doesn't go full retard or spend all their time shitposting. Every fucking day in the 2 years that I have been here have has every fucking day been repost day, with the occasional memes and trends that effortlessly overthrow the god damn faggotry that has infested that cursed fucking place. You are no better than /xivg/, you are no better than /wowg/ and I bet even /ksg/ laughs at you pieces of shit. Everyone is fucking denying that they're a bunch of circlejerkers, but I am seeing the same fucking pattern, uninterrupted, seamlessly every fucking week without the slightest bit of change. And if there is a god damned baitpost, how about you don't fucking feed the god damn troll, don't play their stupid fucking games. Holy fuck, I am so fucking sick of this fucking thread, all of you, kill your fucking selves. You are intellectually, emotionally and socially incapable to argue over anything, you are a fucking waste of time and space and if I could I would gas you all fucking Hitler style. FUCK YOU AND THIS RETARDED ABYSMAL HELLHOLE.

Same shit happened to me. Went from getting around 11k to 6k with nothing really changing inbetween but the group.

Cancel your buff (hit C and click on it) and drink again.

Where and how do you farm hajeiko?

>overwriting an old buff fucks with the EXP gain
Welp. I wonder how much I missed out on not knowing this so far.

I would also like to know.
My current tank needs them fairly badly.

bought them for 8k each, I'm on PC eu

>8k each
>7 pieces
>56k

WHERE DO WE FARM HAJEIKO, GUYS?

I'm enchanting only the big pieces but yeah the idea of farming them also crossed my mind

IC sewers - chests, molag, maybe bosses too, can't remember

major PITA to farm, rarer than kutas desu

Kutas aren't really that rare though

+1

ESO would make a good anime

That Bosmer doesn't have enough old feces smeared all over him.

I usually find what I'm looking for in Daggerfall

Mournhold I can vouch for. The kiosks around the wayshrine are usually fine.

I'm sure wherever the undaunted camp for DC is fine too, but elden root is shit tier. Everything is so fucking spread out and you have to go through doors for all crafting, while also having less than average guild stores

bump

PvE loving WotLK-baby here, looking for something new to play.

How good is ESO?

I wouldn't mind buying the gold edition for 40% off (30€), but I'm not sure how alive the game is, and how good the PvE content is in general.

I heavily despise PvP, so all I want to know about is comfy raid content and the leveling experience.

Merry Christmas!

Does the Mage's Guild questline give exp for the skill line? Or is it all tied to lorebooks?

lorebooks only

what's the point of this game if you can play skyrim with mods for free instead?

>tfw you go from Champion 50 to 80 at breakneck speed and still have mediocre gear but the enemies are scaled to a higher level so world bosses straight up one-shot you and you have to go grind for crafting materials to make new equipment

I'm probably doing something horribly wrong with my build too

I'd honestly say it's worth it. I came in with almost no expectations(Game gets shitposted to high hell) but gave it a shot anyways and after an okay early game, it gets great. Combat is lots of fun, dungeons are more than just hallways(looking at you, FFXIV) and there's lots of build variety. It can be a bit overwhelming at the start with the vast amount of things you can put skill points into but once you get the hang of it, you'll love it.

Leveling is great, but they recently changed the zones from leveled to anyone can quest wherever they want. No longer like wow where it's durotar 1-10 and whatnot.

Dungeons are good fun, but there's definitely a meta for DPS. Tanking can be done by anyone and is real rewarding, healing can kind of be done by anyone but templar healing (equiv of holy priest) is far and away better than everyone else, but it's still quite fun.

You'll want to join a guild for trials, but it's not hard and there are heaps of players doing PvE content. PvP is absolute cancer atm and a lot of people have gone back to PvE.

>I heavily despise PvP, so all I want to know about is comfy raid content

Unfortunately, there are a few skills available from pvp that are kind of required for trials. It doesn't take too long to get them and for the most part you can just roll with a pvp group and play support, but tanks, healers and melee dps benefit from said skills.
If you plan to play magic DPS, no pvp needed at all though.

Merry christmas to you too

What required healer skill is PvP exclusive?

sometimes people use warhorn on healers. Not that necessary, but sometimes it's expected

Leveling Mage's Guild is painful.

Is the Ultimate even worth it?

I'm a Magplar, usually DPS.

It's great but the combat system isn't like WoW at all. Merry Christmas, have this chart over how different people experience levelling in ESO.

Christmas bump

Got the game for Christmas, haven't played Skyrim or other Elder Scrolls in months, been playing WoW Legion for the last while and I want to make my first character a Mage DPS.

Is this a stupid/painful idea for a first character?

Any advice for a Mage DPS? I read the beginner's guide, but I would love any and all bits of advice

Is it like WoW with looks, by the by? Like transmogging? Or is it more like Skyrim with it looking like whatever gear you find being the actual model look?

Meant to add:

Happy Christmas everybody!

>thieves guild
>one of the members is a dunmer in a lesbian relationship with a khajiit
>the other was an argonian who had a weird dominatrix chick who is hunting him down

Worry

Why do you think they wear all that leather, user?

Yeah, thieves guild had a zany cast of characters.
Made the Dark Brotherhood look boring and normal in comparison

>tfw Hilde wrote a werewolf children's story about herself.

Hew's bane is the Las Vegas of Tamriel, full of sin and vice

I HATE ELVES. I FUCKING HATE ELVES SO FUCKING MUCH. I FUCKING HOPE ALL ELVES AND ELF SUPPORTERS DIE PAINFULLY. FUCKING COCKSUCKING ELF LOVERS. I WILL FUCKING CUT YOUR MILK FINGERS. IF THERE ARE ANY SURVIVORS, I ANNIHILATE THEM. BROWN, GRAY, PALE ELF, CHILD OR WOMAN, I DON'T CARE. FUCK MER. FUCK AURI-EL.

>full of catnip and lice

Ftfy

>Is this a stupid/painful idea for a first character?
Not at all. Good magicka sorcerer races are altmer and breton if you want to min max. For magicka dragon knight(good class for fire mage) you should pick dunmer if you want to min/max.
>

Just like Skyrim but with WoWs variety.

Nice.
Thanks man.

Do you specialise in a spell type?
Is fire good?

Do these things show up anywhere else, like dungeons and shit? It was pretty neat to fight it.

Sadly no. It would be neat if ZOS added some in to Alik'r dessert.

Not even an exageration. In my adventures in thievery (and failures because lolrng) I've encountered at LEAST three vampires and one werewolf, with another possible one but the possible one I can actually get a 100% pickpocket rate on and I value money more than confirming that he is a werewolf.

it's a good ult, destruction staff ult might outclass it now, but it's worth getting high mages guild for the empower buff when you cast inner light.

I leveled mages guild while hunting skyshards, but yeah it's a bit of a pain. I use shooting star heaps on my magNB along with soul harvest; the ulti generation is great and I can shit out the ult every 1-2 trash packs.

>Mage DPS

Merry Christmas, your best bet will be rolling a sorcerer. Levelling with pets is great fun, the learning curve is fine for sorc and they're either best or second best magic DPS depending on who you ask.

Dragonknights are decent mages, but there's heaps of DoT management and less nuking. Templars have a stupidly powerful execute but are pretty boring IMO. If you think you might want to heal eventually, go Templar, if maybe you like breathing fire and possibly want to respec for magic tanking, DK is excellent, if you want to have your value questioned every single time you enter a dungeon go magNB, if you just want to kill things with magic, go sorc

Thieves Guild made me actually interested in Hammerfell stuff.

Tha ks a ton mate, I'll keep that in mind when it's eventually finished updating.

A few quick questions though; is there a Necromancer-like class? Or is that the Sorc? Is Sorc the one with the big nuke? I like having sustained, but I like having a Big One that I feel I can fall back to in times or trouble

How are pets/pet AI?

Hope the Christmas is being good to you!

Same here. Also the fact that redguards heavily frown upon magic and hate necromancy more than any other race. Then I learned more about their gods, wind magic and sword singing.

Don't forget the argonian later ties her up in his own basement

how do i make cloth armour look good dyed

None but Barrier, Warhorn and Guard are the ones worth looking at for healing.
>Warhorn
Morphed into Aggressive Warhorn Is the main one for when your tank isn't slotting it or you're running 1 heal 3 DPS, I usually always have it slotted
>Barrier
Can help a lot in certain fights and I usually always have it slotted, Banished Cells 1 HM/Spindleclutch 1 HM it shines greatly when your DPS aren't experienced as it will definitely save their lives when they are hit by the bosses random 20k+ damage attacks, also great for execution phase or when you want/need to stop babysitting as you can just pop it off and focus on DPS for a while
>Guard
I've only used once during a Tempest Island HM run where one of the DPS didn't had enough health to survive the random 18k hit from the boss, ideally it should only be used by tanks but if you're desperate to carry it's there.

Are they fucking?
Cause I feel like this is going a bit weird.
Also dunno why people said the Thieves Guild was bad, it's been very fun so far.

I'm pretty sure he rapes her at one point or at least thought about it. Then the pirates get to her.

>rape
Pretty sure she wants it.

>have edited .ini
>keep seein pics like this one
>are we playing the same game?
Like seriously what am I missing that make the game look this good. I mean it aint no crysis but compared with some of the shit smeared wall textures I've seen. Guessing it's just jews bane being new, kinda like how the race motif look like deus ex tier low poly blurs compared with motifs coming out now

"The Clockwork City, also known as Sotha Sil is a giant underground complex created by the god of the same name, Sotha Sil. It is not truly a city, consisting only of brass tunnels and domes with Dwemer-inspired architecture and gears."

You sure about that user?

imperial-library.info/content/sotha-sils-last-words

Brah, the Sotha Sil you visit in Tribunal is little more than the inner workshop. There's a vast, sprawling multitude outside it. Even the preview of the Clockwork City in ESO showed as much. It's the Clockwork City for a reason.

>It's the clockwork city for a reason

Things actually run on time there?

Well, in a way, yes.

>Random dungeon on alt
>It's fucking WGT
>The group leader is lvl11 and keeps on attacking the The Planar Inhibitor without even asking if the group is ready
>2 others are almost as clueless on aggro management

I hate this dungeon

>Not asking guys from your guild(s) to do dungeons.
But yeah, I know how you're feeling.

>How are pets/pet AI?
They're pretty retarded. If you're on PC you can command what they attack but that's it.

Anyone know of any way to make the first-time installation update not take 3days of constant downloading?

Or is this like an unfixable version of SWtOR?

6hours and it's at 6%

Time to post your postcode and ask an user to put it on a hdd if you live close, then meet you at your local library and copy onto laptop. The dload being fuckhuge is probably the problem.
