Concept cars in the earl 2000's were boss. Now you have designs like Lexus and Cadillac with spaceships.

Nissan had a pretty good design for the next z car, desu.

early 2000s anerican concepts were god tier

WHYYYYYYYYYYYY
TOYOTA WHYYYYYYYYYYYY
didnt you make this a real thing!!!!!!

Is this what happens when somebody describes how to model a Charger over the phone to a blind guy?

those are some weird ass proportions

youtube.com/watch?v=8rjZnUZ8ums

...

Fun fact. That concept was the template for the Charger sedan. You can thank it.

The charger actually looks good unlike that trainwreck.

ugly

Awesome

Aside from the tombstone grille it looks like Bugatti stole their styling cues from this.

>ugly
how can you not love that fucking start up noise it makes. ITS A FUCKING JET ENGINE EEEEEEEEEE

But the Eb110 was before the GT90. Camilo Pardo, the GT90 designer, likely saw the EB110 and was influenced by it.

I fail to see how a pleasant sound makes it not ugly

Is Susan Boyle pretty because she can sing well?

But the EB110 is boxy, this is round. The Veyron is Also round and looks nothing like the EB110

Did your personality make you handsome?

I don't see how my looks enter into the equation that makes a car ugly

Cant believe no one has mentioned this beast yet

Integra? Is that you?

I wish the modern Charger looked like this instead

That is quite possibly the most hideous piece of shit I've ever seen.

...

You wish it looked like a Dodge Intrepid with weight gain?

>tfw you will never a corvette with
>4 rotors
>mid-engined
>gullwing doors

stop posting

Fixed it for you bro

...

cup a soup

...

Pic related?

That side profile is very rapide-esque

>Batman cartoons in the 90s were my favorite

Say no more

Fug that would make a bretty gud shroud for a RR/MR swap
>tfw no V12 hanging off the back of your economy hatch

>citroen

i got u senpai

...

...

looks like the Charger's downy brother

Gay

TFW no one likes jet engine car

Almost every French concept cars is godlike its infuriating that they never make it even in a limited edition...

...

>tfw no fax machine built into my center console

If it appeared under a new name and the front fascia looked more like , I'd say yes.

The original driving bunker?

I'd have taken that over the god-awful 300C. WHY CHRYSLER, WHY

I would rather drive a hako.

Neat

>2008
looks like 2001

Isuzu made some neat concepts

>F1 V12 ute

>tfw no awd NSX from Nissan

Honestly the GTRs seem like a bad compromise when compared to what could have been.

Crossfire with a bodykit

Well its technically not a concept

>no retarded gookshit econoboxes to laugh at

Laughing at the Veloster is fun, but this would've been so much better.

I think it was supposed to be an affordable supercar for americans, I dont remember the details but it's neat looking, and Chrysler doesn't always come out with neat things like this.

Cadillac was spewing out some awesome concepts in the early 2000's as well.

Pic related is probably my favorite concept car
>Connaught Type D GT
>built by the brits, masters of the roadster
>aggressive styling, but not HURR ANGRYFACE like most newer cars
>powered by a screaming 2.0L supercharged V10
>even more power is given from a KERS-style hybrid system
>all this in 2006, long before hybrid supercars were even considered a good idea

>taking a corner at any speed above 30
>rear end swings out, car spins uncontrollably

Styling looks dated, but all the design elements actually work really nicely together. Would buy.

>technically not a concept
What is it and where can I buy one?

and here's another Caddy. Sadly the higher ups get their kicks from stomping on a dream.

>Only 70s Ausfag kids will remember

>2.0L supercharged V10
muh dick

Maybach Exelero

One off model

These have actually been ripped off by a third party manufacturer though and are available as camper shells.

yeah, but no

and literally everyone with the new forza

...

That totally looks like an early 2000's taurus

holy fugg that looks comfy

>it cost Ford Australia $700 million to develop

Midnight klub 3 was a neat game.

>tfw no cien-based jetcar

Did it fail the spider focus test? It was probably too hard to siphon petrol from

...

Well the engine upgrades were sweet and the suspension upgrades were on point. If the engine lost coolant it would shut off individual cylinders and vent air through them to cool the block. If it got to a stage it could not control the temp anymore it would shut the engine down. Literally couldnt cook the motors.

If only Detroit hadn't forced them to use the New Edge styling things might have gone better.

This, the Ciel, and the Cien are the 3 best concept cars cadillac ever made.

it really was, just 100% MC2, waiting on my friend to hand me their PS2 so I can get started on MC3

shit user keep slayin' nigga

What the RX8 should have been

>landbarge

gross

>what the RX8 should have been
>still posts a picture

>literally couldn't cook the motors
Honestly I never even knew they had those overheating prevention features, that's pretty cool.

That said, some customers have made a stellar attempt at warping the heads and blocks of those old I6s.

Looks like a stoned catfish Camaro.

they could have released the single best luxury car in the world as long as they made all of the tech very subtle, geared towards elderly people

How's that door handle even work?

You know nothing of the panel van

sounds absolutely boss starting up I'll admit

I have a theory that in the late 90s to early 2000s because trucks were selling so well, American car companies let the pickup design teams head all other development and shit up the entire range.

Retro Nastalgic was what lead most of the concepts. That concept was mostly playing with the idea of 50's style windows. The rest of the car is the Charger/Magnum platform.

The Prowler, PT Cruiser, Thunderbird, 2005 Mustang, HHR, SSR were all in the name of retro design.

...

The chrtysler turbine should also be here of course

AN AU FALCON, LOOK AT HER

How about developing an engine that doesn't loose a coolant? Would it be too easy to consider?

What the BMW 2 series Gran Tourer should have been

>tfw no V12 BMW van

>996cc V6 turbo

>Mercedes V8 or Jaguar V12 engine
>240 kph
>8 seats
>almost as long as the current Chevy Suburban

>someone's internet render
At least post an actual Lincoln concept.

...

Show the left side of it. This one is rammed.

thank you for your contribution to this thread

Well, seeing as thought the Crossfire was based on this concept, I imagine there would indeed be similarities.

Looks like a first gen Infiniti M45 concept.
