Pros:

Cons:
>I don't have a snooty villager and was hoping to get one
>she would be my tenth so if I change my mind in the future, I'd have to let someone else go (unless I force her out with an amiibo or something, but that doesn't seem likely)

If I didn't have amiibo cards, I would take her, no question. That said, there are a few people here who scan villagers and give them away, you could just hold out until one of them come by. Fauna's really nice, but there are a lot of other cool villagers out there.

The Simple Panel is really versatile, you can customise both the border and cloth colour with more than 4 choices each. You can also use custom cloth fabric too.

Just got my first pack of cards. Can I only scan each card once? Or can they be scanned repeatedly.

Once a day in game time.

One per day, you can rescan the same one repeatedly.

I love that little "this cartoon animal is a girl" ribbon.

Cards can be rescanned as often as you'd like, though Wisp only does his thing once a day. If you're playing DIE with different teams, you'll be doing a lot of scanning.

They go into boxes on the day you scan them (so someone can go adopt them.
Next day they're gone and the new villager's plot is roped off.
Next next day the new villager is in arrival boxes.
