Yep. As soon as you get more levels for your weapon / shield by using it, and getting that number next to the item icon on the menu, you will get more rune count slots into your weapon. You have to be careful when fusing ability-infused weapons with smaller level ones, because if you fuse it with a weapon of a lower rune count, all the abilities don't carry over. I don't know how the game decides which abilities it leaves out, but I wouldn't risk anything when doing it, just to be sure not to lose any important abilities.

I think there was a shield that had a similar ability in it, can't remember for sure, but yeah, I would also go personally for the shield. I think the survival weighs more than your attack output, especially when it comes to the longer treks through the longer dungeons.

Even PS4 doesn't have one announced. Guess they'll announce it after Shallie+ gets out or something. Though I hope they come up with something else other than cloth poster, while they look really nice I don't really need them. A barrel mug or something like that would be neat.

I'm really glad I got to pre-order my EU copy. Feels really good to know we finally get at least one Vita Atelier physically, with a nice LE to boot. I'm probably going for Mary Skelter LE the moment it gets announced.

Yup, Shallie+ LE probably was the last ever KT game to have physical Vita release in west. IFI is actually pretty good publisher these days, they have physical for every region with an LE and normal version. I'm going to get the normal version for MS, mostly because I don't really do much with the stuff they give with the LEs. But with Gust series I always go for the LE.

I think there were some ways to break the basic rule of having to synthesize only the same kind of items to combine their properties. I believe it was somehow related to the Mixer enemy, as in it was the only one with which it was possible. Using Synthesizing Pot requires the items to be the same type, otherwise they won't mix at all. I guess it is one another way of finding out by doing, if you don't want to resort to online guides, which I personally wouldn't recommend, since it takes out some of the fun when trying to find out about things on your own. If the items you try to mix with weapons or shields aren't compatible, they are dropped by the Mixer after you defeat it after feeding it stuff.

After a little googling AJ is a Japanese company? And it doesn't have too many English speakers? Maybe there's some confusion to be had when your PR is like that. Quite a good game for me.

I think the settings/story and characters are pretty well done. The art is really gorgeous in particular and OST is quite good as well. However it can get a little gory and disturbing at times since it involves quite a bit of blood and violence along with some weird stuff.

Battle system was alright but didn't impress me too much. I should add that the 3D modeling and animation are pretty great though, so it's still quite enjoyable.

Dungeon exploration is kinda nice with the gimmicks and stuff, along with things like nightmare chasing you and disabling automap, but some parts felt a little too unnecessarily huge and without direction.
