It got 174 mph on one mile, wich is pretty good for a 68 mustang.
It is not read yet, also only stock ones have ~8hp.

17,6KW=24hp
24Hp*0,8=19,2
Even if the efficienc would drop to 80% I would still have 19,2hp.
You cannot ASSUME efficiency you complete and utter retard. If you are feeding a motor 3x its stock rated current and spinning it faster than it was designed to your efficiency is plummeting faster than your fat mother slipping on butter she spilled in the ktichen

Actualy the higher rpm increase the efficiency of the engine since the copper losses stay the same while the power output is incresed.
The increased current does increase the copper losses, but not to a point where over 20% of the energy gets lost in heat.
i live in the city and only drive if i dont feel like walking to eat., shop, be entertained, ect.

Gas tax funds road maintenance and repair. If electric vehicles get big your electricity bill will just get that tax on it and cost more or you will only be able to recharge in metered stations at a price.
Electric cars are heavier and cause more road damage than an equivalent combustion car, so rest assured that it will eventually have to pay for it.
