I got 200 flight hours, my PPL/multi engine/night rating before I realized I didn't have the passion, personality, money to be a pilot. I quit, and I'm honestly happier (and richer) fixing planes instead of flying them.

They're okay. I wouldn't become a pilot myself though, too many regulations, constant attention to radar and voice comm.
Maybe a paramotor someday. These have relatively mild regulation attached, and if you equip yourself right you can even go camping with them.
