I like the DIN system because I love cars having standardized Stereo sizes. Makes it easier to find aftermarket replacements. Ever try to replace the stereo in a car before the DIN was standardized?

It's virtually impossible without going to a specialty manufacturer.

Not easy but not hard. Get a bypass chip for $10 so you don't have to cut the wiring to the parking brake for shit to work. Get some plastic pry tools on amazon for

I have a Clarion double din and like it. I was gonna go single din + the storage slot, but found out the like space is completely useless, especially at the height and angle my stereo sits at.

Assuming you lack steering wheel controls (or don't give a shit about them not working), there's a bretty gud Pioneer unit a lot of people here like that's double DIN and bluetooth. Try crutchfield and make sure shit works.
