The AI is kinda fucked in FH3 it all depends on what car you have and what the other drivatars have. Just make brand races/championship or something like that and you will easily win on the hardest difficulty.

There is no better game than BeamNG.drive for just chilled driving.
The Crew isn't bad for that either.
Shift 2 was my favourite stricte racing game.

Gram Turismo 5 will always be my favorite racing game. Least favorite is the last Need For Speed game. I mean that game has more rubber banding than MARIO Cart 8. Perfect example, I'm doing a crew face in a Ferrari 458 maxed out and I get passed by the chick with Nakai San crush's 240 sx. I was going 220 mph too and she passed me like I was stopped.

LFS is some good shit. spent hours configuring my drift cars.

Forza 4 is fun, but you have to sandbag a lot for the main career mode/world tour to stay fun. The difficulty is dynamic, but what that really means is really crappy rubberbanding that gives the AI impossible boosts and speed rather than making them drive better.

Drive for hours and not even cover a quarter of the map.

Either this or MC:LA. Can't go wrong with either of them.

Me, but I've never played Parallel Lines after the mediocrity of Driver 3. San Franciso was excellent though.

LA holds up better today and was one of the first racing games I got into

Awfully I've only actually played Driv3r, Parallel Lines and San Fran. Haven't played 1 or 2 even though I know they're better.

Recently went back on my PS2 and found all the dumb replays of stuff I did on Driv3r when I was younger, that game still has my nostalgia points but it's fucking garbage.

Seems like i'm one of the Few people that like Midnight Club II the most out of all Midnight Clubs.
It lacked licenced Cars and shit but the Story mode was almost perfect.

Tarmac stuff on DR is trash and the force feedback on anything but gravel is bad.

TXR:0 has consumed a large part of my waking life since Christmas, TXR:D2 is super fun with a wheel too. I need to try out C1 Grand Prix but I don't speak wapanese so I'd need the translations.

MC3 was one of the first racing games I 100%'d, I never got around to playing the remix version with tokyo though.

Top Atmosphere, soundtrack, customizarion.

IMO Underground 2 was too much of everything, 1 was perfect

Also, surprisingly Most Wanted 2012. Handling is fucking dogshit but the Music, Fun, Speed and the good old "jump into supercar and just race" concept of NFS made me love this game

Comfiest menu music and races ever

The only gripes are the retarded gear change accelerating with clutch engaged, pisses me off to no end and also the steering is a bit arcadey but I still enjoy the game.
