My supra has BACK BREAKING stock seats which are like resting against a brick wall.

It's the one thing i hate so much about the car, so i've resolved to fix it up with something really fucking comfortable.

At first i was thinking aftermarket seats, of which there's a variety but i dunno how comfortable they'll be (all seem to be lightweight ones), anyone ever transplanted a merc seat into their car or anything similar?

Thinking about shoving a luxury seat in there for max comfyness.

well I've been in a friend's mk4 and it was comfy as fuck so i dunno whats up with yours, I wouldnt fuck with trying to fit something out of a BMW or merc into a supra, I'm a fan of the specific brides in my wrx and if the ones to fit a supra are anything close to mine then they'll be fucking great. Just make sure that you're not getting a bucket thats too narrow because it'll feel shit while using the clutch

To clarify I prefer the feeling of nice bucket seats over luxury ones because I hate when you sink too far into a seat while accelerating or cornering hard so I don't really fuck with super cushy seats. It's all about preference really. Trying to fit something from a luxury car into a sports car like a supra could potentially mean chopping bits of the seat up to make it fit

It's $626 a week as a first year with $4.92 weekly tool allowance.
Much better money than I was making as a delivery driver and I'm developing a skill other than learning how to rip skidz. I'm living(leeching) at home with mama and papa, I could live out of home with my gf but that would be tight.
How did you go about your living arrangement when doing an apprenticeship? I feel it would be best for me to stay at home. Rent is $180-200 a week for a room in my area, that would be too tight i feel.

Motors are bulletproof, stock seats are pretty comfy, looks imo decent but that's subjective. Unless you can find one with relatively low Ks and has been looked after don't bother. Prime P plater cars, most are thrashed, everything on them falling apart due to age (bar motor), lots of the early e series EA-ED have rust, later e series paint fades, on all of them pipes and hoses are all fucked to a degree.
Definitely DO get one if it's in good condition though, they are great cruising cars, plenty of room for everything you need, interior isn't /too/ dated, easy to swap out radio to newer ones. So much aftermarket and community support, can replace virtually all interior trim to the luxury spec.

I have a lot to say on e series but yeah i think you get the idea.

Turns out there's only a one in four chance of getting tested and I was fortunate to be in the 75% that weren't tested. Since I dropped on New Years Eve and it was only an oral test I likely would've been in the clear but it was still a stressful experience.
