I absolutely agree. He was sadder, the relationship would be more difficult than with any other girl save MAYBE shizoon, and the worst thing of all is the smoking. Smoking does affect the heart, so Hisao is an idiot to do it.

from my observations people who like the two dykes or lilly do, and people who like hanako don't.

there might actually be more of the former than of the latter. maybe i'm just seeing things but it looks like the destruction of hanako's route meant that it couldn't maintain a fanbase for the character very well. and if lilly fans already outnumber hanako fans, there's no way that lilly fans and some other people wouldn't.
