Buy a Civic and shut the fuck up

You don't even have your fucking license yet, Takumi, if you buy an ~!EIGHT-SIX!~ you will surely wrap it around a tree

>Budget is $2500 but prefer under $20000
Do you understand what a budget is?

meant $25000

Daddy's money?

Hyundai Veloster
You'll get mad pussy bro

hrv or related subcompact hatchback

Get a V6 Challenger.

honda s2000

this, you can make a civic fun as fuck and fast (to you) for 2500

You'd be surprised what you can find under 2500 that's sporty and fun.
>Honda Civic
>Ford Escort ZX2
>Dodge Neon Coupe (don't bother with automatics)
>Chevrolet Cavalier Z24
>Pontiac Sunfire GT
>Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
>Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34
>Ford Thunderbird
>Pontiac Fiero
>Nissan 200SX SE-R
and the list goes on and on. They won't be in the best condition but they'll run and get you to from A to B in a decent amount of fun.

Get a focus ST and you'll not be a fag.

That's not the kind of pussy he wants crazy cat lady.
He'd pull more pussy in a BMW because badgewhores but he could never afford the upkeep.

Yeah, if you want to lose your virginity to a black whore on the ripped back seat of a shitty red civic with clear coat peel

Just get a foxbody already.

lost virginity is lost virginity buddy.

This

>focus st
>not a flaming faggot

What it says on the tin, senpai. You buy into a veloster you're buying miles of cock to suck on. If you're into that it's ok; it's your choice.

>>Dodge Neon Coupe (don't bother with automatics)
>>Chevrolet Cavalier Z24
>>Pontiac Sunfire GT
>>Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
>>Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34

>sporty
>fun

pick none of the above

For under 25k? Umm get a pre owned 2014 mustang gt im sure you can find one with less than 50k miles under 25 plus the aftermarket community is HUGEEE if youre thinking about modding

My mustang, ive been a mustang enthusiast for about 5 years and i never went back to anything

btw this a shelby GT500 smits around 50k but you get the point

Get a used Toyobaru
>But Veeky Forums says they're slow
You're not doing better for that budget unless you're mechanically inclined and ready to do some regular wrenching to keep your Craigslist Special working.

I was so close to buying a gt500, but decided to go with a C6. Modding scene is big for both, but the gt500 is still a great car.

Make a list of shit u like and want. Go test drive every fucking car on the list. Twice.

I love the 86. Hate the mustang. Love the m3, but it's fucking stupid money.

Nways, if it was me, I'd go for 86.
That's what I did. And Im happy.

>Hurr Durr not enough power
I also have an inline 5 turbo with 300tq at 1500rpm. That car does not put a smile on my face like the 86... It does go over the bumps better thou. 86 is pretty stiff.

New:

2017 Civic Si when released
Shitty v6 versions of the us muscle cars
VW gti
Miata

Used:

Miata
S2k
Trans am ws6
Mustang gt
Infiniti g35
E36 m3
A whole bunch of other shit

25k is a lot of money. The car has to last you a while.
Since you're on Veeky Forums board be wise and don't get some shitty FF drive system which you'll be happy for about 10 minutes until you see an FR go by.

Just get an used 86 or miata or some other good-handling FR car if you like corners and want to do mods.

Get a muscle car or truck if you're only going to do drag races and burnouts and you think manuals are for retards who can't use autos and think drag racing is the pinnacle of motor racing and drivers skill

I was thinking of getting the 2017 Civic Si because I want something that will last 10+ years and be reliable and cheap to maintain but still fun and practical
The only problem is fwd. I'd definitely prefer rwd.
Brz/86 and Miata both look like good cars, but I want something at least modestly professional looking, since I'm 25 and a working professional. Would consider a wrx but not sure about interior/ride quality and long term reliability
I know I'm asking for a lot in a car especially for 20-30k but what's the closest to that formula of fun daily driver that's reliable, good suspension, modestly powerful, nice interior, good ride comfort, and preferably rwd or awd

The Grand Prix and Monte both get the 3800 engine which is quick and has aftermarket support. The J-body twins and the Neon were both extremely competitive in SCCA Showroom stock racing.

Just because you've never seens a DOHC third gen J-body (most of them had a 2.2L pushrod I4) doesn't mean they don't exist. The 2.4L Twin Cam can rev to the moon, and the Ecotec has god-tier engineering and amazing aftermarket. And if you do have one of the 2.2L pushrods, don't worry. A V6 swap isn't that hard.

The Neon dominated in SCCA racing, and, alongside the J-twins, STILL does so. They are fun to drive provided you ignore the automatics. The automatics were archaic 3 speed units. In the SCCA rallycross events, Neons frequently take down AWD Subarus.

The budget by himself is $2,500. The 20k is if he gets his parents involved to finances tard

poorfag detected

I know that lot of people say they want grown up car w/e but I own bunsiness and used to have Frs with fully gutted interior. Who cares

It's more that I want something that's well put together, and doesn't have rattling in the interior, excessive road noice, etc.
I don't care about someone judging my car, I just don't want something that places significantly more importance on performance than comfort and practicality like an sti

>The budget by himself is $2,500. The 20k is if he gets his parents involved to finances tard
Except that's wrong you fucking retard.

I meant to put budget as $25,000 just made a typo

upload a pick of you drawing a straight line.

If it's your first vehicle, I'd recommend getting a light duty pickup truck. They're easy to work on, fun to drive and get decent MPG.

this. every time.
decent mileage, handle fine, aren't obnoxiously big, can do whatever you need to do, and easier to fix shit with than almost anything else.

you could get a mini cooper s or a 595 abarth or a miata

>light duty pickup truck

Could you suggest a few models?

Just because you passed your test, doesn't mean you can drive. A car with a good chassis and modest power can still put a smile on your face without wrapping you round a tree, and it'll help you build up skills for when you get a faster car.

Chevrolet S10
GMC Sonoma/GMC S15
Dodge Dakota
Ford Ranger
Mazda B-series
Toyota Pickup (before the Tacoma and Tundra. Known in other countries as the Toyota Hilux)
Isuzu P'UP
Isuzu Hombre
Nissan Hardbody

If you can afford one, the god-tier vehicle in this class is the GMC Syclone, which was only available for 1 model year, 1991. The Syclone could out-accelerate Ferrari's of the time with its turbocharged 4.3L V6 and all wheel drive. From 1992-1993, there was an SUV variant known as the GMC Typhoon. Same vehicle, different body.

Also, the Ford Ranchero, Dodge Rampage, Chevrolet El Camino or GMC Caballero if you like utes

If it has to be more modern than any of those, you can buy a kit for $3500 to turn a MK4 or MK5 VW Jetta into an ute pickup (pictured)

Been looking for a truck for 2 weeks now, can't stand big trucks and not towing that much if any. Budget 5k in New Jersey, have looked at 10 trucks. All fucking rust buckets or beat to shit. Been searching for all except the Isuzu's, thanks man.

Yeah syclones are fucking god tier but they go for like 15k around me lol

What are your thoughts on 4x4 and 4 cyl vs 6 cyl. Ideally I'd like a v6 with 4x4 but its going to be my daily driver, I really don't do any offroading but winters here can be somewhat brutal. Buying a truck without 4x4 just seems wrong.
