>not having 5 valves/cylinder

My CX500 had 4v per cylinder with ohv. Revved to 10k to. Was a pretty cool and fun motor

physically it's easier to do when it's only 1 cylinder per bank or a diesel like the OP

>Diesel
Wooptyfuckingdoo

t. Ferrari

Yeah. It was a cool setup. Only two pushrods, but it operated two valves with each rocker in a semi-hemi format. Screw and nut adjusters so valve checks where super easy.

>only 4 valves per cylinder

how does it feel being BTFO by honda pushrod cucks?

OH LOOK HIS FORD MUSTANG TROLL THREADS WERENT GETTING ENOUGH BUMPS SO HE BUMPED THIS THREAD INSTEAD

DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS

>implying Honda did it first

That would go to Toyota for pic related

Yooo

>implying 8 valves per cylinder = 5 valves per cylinder

Learn to read toyocuck

>physically it's easier to do when it's only 1 cylinder per bank or a diesel like the OP
The only difference is the rocker is pushing on an arm connected to two valves. Not hard for any engine.

Yes it is hard or there would be more engines doing it.

Nobody uses OHV anymore, so no, more engines would not be using it.

>Nobody uses ohv anymore
GM and FCA still do. A few motorcycle companies do as well.

Considering GM went to the trouble of developing a super complicated VVT system while keeping pushrods I'm sure they would go 4v if they could.
It's just not easy to do if you need inclined valves (unlike a diesel) and don't have the space only having 1 cyl per bank gives you

GM and Dodge do
Then again, the fact that they are sticking to OHV in the first place shows that they dont give a fuck about anything more advanced than technology from 50 years ago

Fun fact: OHC was around before OHV.

>GM
nobody

>FCA
Equally lazy as GM, this is evidenced by the 3rd gen Hemi actually being a wedgehead.

Even Cummins has gone to DOHC.

GM and FCA have used DOHC for an long time you retarded newfag

in shit engines

pushrods>ohc newfag

...

>implying i even like corvette
GM is grade A ass

wait i thought you hated pushrods?

I hate valves

>OHV : 1898
>OHC : 1902

BTFO

ohv fags on suicide watch

does koenigsegg make valveless engines? like two strokes?

More like "I hate cams".

I hate
I hate cars
