Coffs NSW Aus

Tonnes of bogan utes and home brew rally cars and everything inbetween

gr8/10

There is some stance crap, VAG scene, riced Honda's, bossted Nissans, fast Audis, some V8s (especially Mustangs), etc.
Youngtimers are prety popular tho

From the motorsport perspective, the most popular are local rallies, and drifting I think. There are almost no real tracks for a proper racing so track days take place usually on an old airfields or something similar.

t.Bolan

whats a car

Melbourne, near Bourke Street mall.

It's a killer scene

Assholes buying high powered German cars to drive like dicks and blast down the Autobahn.

Poor assholes buying German or Japanese shitboxes to slap cheap lowering kits, loud mufflers and subwoofers on them to annoy everyone around them.

A very particular group of Ameriboo motorists having old American barges as second or sometimes first cars.

Old folk obsessing about their garbage commie shitboxes they've had in the barn for the last 30 years.

Sandniggers aren't a noteworthy population in eastern Germany, otherwise you'd have to mention them financing expensive German cars to hoon around the city as pretend-gangsters.

South Aus
Tons of boosted R33's and 32's which are all breaking because of their boost. Broken S13's and your average bogan thinking their Commondores are Gods gift to this world. Real nice Evo's and STI's though. Euro's somewhat exist but nobody pays them much attention. Stance isn't a major issues cause our roads are all fucking broken. We now have Mustangs too which is cool. Also there is you average boosted XR6T running 400Kw on shitty rims and bad tires. Good fun when you mix it all together :)

Younger drivers aspire to own an old Golf with broken suspension until they can afford to finance the newest car possible. I work with a guy spent £14,000 on a four year old BMW 318i while he only makes £17,000 a year.

Lots of people think their 1.9 diesel hatchback is fast.

Motorsport is almost exclusively for the over 40s and teenage sons of millionaires trying to make it to F1. Some people between those ages do a little bit of racing rental karts or just trackdays. Trackday car of choice is an E36 BMW right now, however we also have a strong kit car scene so those are popular too.

There are many performance cars that are depreciating rapidly because CO2 based taxes mean they are expensive to run, a good condition Nissan 350z for example now costs

third worlder here

riced peugot 206s, volkswaggen gols, and other such shitboxes.

this

Northern Virginia. Literally no car scene at all. 99% of cars are either minivans or econoboxes. The other 1% are stock Mustangs

South Germany is the same
-commies
+Rich old people in expensive cars
+a lot of turks and arabs in Mercs and BMWs

Northern Germany, too

-Trabi folks
+surfer dudes furnishing their vw multivans and putting beds in them
+lots of cheap Danish reimports

Sydney, Australia:
Lots of JDMfags - r33s, evos, s15s, s13s, etc.
Lots of falcodores.
Large 4 door muscle community.
A few E36s + E30s. Older euros are expensive and hard to get parts for (I have to get pretty much all the parts for my E30 from the US)
Track days are expensive and hard to get - drift days and the drags are the most popular events.
The cops defect stanced cars so not many of those around.

Well, there is the dirt bike/ATV nonsense on the other side of the river. However, having no car scene is great because anything that helps traffic is a godsend.

Tasmania, Australia

basically consists of 90s dirty commodores on chopped springs with stockies, ke70 corollas, mx83 cresidas r31 skylines. (no yearly vehicle check so piles of shit can roam the streets until they get defected and then parted out)

maybe if youre lucky youll see a nice 180 or r33 that isnt blowing a tun of smoke or one that is one solid colour.

lots and lots of those 4x4 cars around, like fucking heaps (dont know much about those sort of cars but every second hi lux or land cruiser has a stupid lift kit and huge tyres)

lots of ex sex spex lancers and preludes that arre driven by people who dont know the difference from the normal version because the rice shit holds zero value.

most fast utes here are unmodified because average people drive them exept for maybe a zorst and a pod filter.

theres a huge subaru scene here because of the shit weather which is actually mint.

if you want a clean car thats not insanley priced youre gonna have to go shopping on the mainland for one if you dont want a trashed out drift missile thats been ruined by years of p plater abuse

0/10

I like this new meme
Yikes ausfag here does nobody in eurocuck land do homebrew tuning and backyard performance mods?

Every car was stock when I was there years ago so I assume it's still the same boring shit

There's this thing called inspections. You can imagine how it works out in the land of order. I mean, it's far from impossible, there are crazy cars here and there, but for most things you need hurr-certified parts with durr-stamps and all other sorts of paperwork mumbo jumbo which makes mods expensive and complicated enough to just leave it to tuning companies who deal with it on a daily basis and know their way around an inspector better. That's why we make Europe's most powerful factory family cars and have so many tuners to begin with. It's just less of a hassle.

Nova Scotia, Canada
There is a large import scene here as we can import cars that are 15 years or older. There is a ton of skylines, Evos and STIs. Obviously there is a lot of old rusted to shit civics with fart cans on them. There is also a lot of 60s, 70s muscle cars and older customs and hot rods. During the long and shitty winter everyone will put their cars in storage and bring out the "winter beater". Many of these are cheap AWD/4X4 vehicles with Subarus being very popular.

Eastern Norway. Winters last a very long time here, so you're pretty much forced to own a car that's winter-friendly (good luck DD-ing your Miata here).
Cars here are extremely expensive to begin with. The cost of a new Honda Jazz (aka Honda Fit) is approx. $30k here, about double the price of what you would pay for one in the US.

Many high-performance cars (especially those with high displacement) are bombarded with taxes to the point where they're impossible to acquire for most people. In 2013 a, new Camaro in Sweden would cost you a little short of $50k, in Norway the same car was $166k. It's absolutely ridiculous.

-That aside, Porsches are a pretty common sight over here in the summertime. German cars in general are very common, but like anywhere else Toyota also has a huge share.
-Teslas are SUPER common. I've even seen a few Tesla Roadsters roaming about.
-The jay dee emm scene is almost nowhere to be seen unless you actively attend events and shit. Even Celicas seem to turn heads here because a lot of people have no idea what they are. I've never seen an RX-7, GTO, Supra, GT-R, 200SX or anything of the sort on this side of the border, but I've seen several of them in Sweden.

If I were to become rich one day, there's no way I'd stay here.

That sounds like hell

Yeah its too complicated, but I'm happy that not every ricer kid can swap a 2JZ in his frail Twingo and attempt to break speed records on the Autobahn. I'd have no problem with aussie standards if our speed limit was 100kmh.

Damn I thought you were exaggerating, but importing a 2016 Camaro with a 6.2l v8 from sweden would cost 85000€ just in taxes.

For Canada west coast is trucks and lots of imports right from Japan, east coast is cars that have rust cancer but seems to be more stancefags

Here it's just get a mod plate and sometimes emissions and that's it.

Europe is fuck.

>We can. Drive ANYTHING

YEAH But it has to be stock as a rock and that defeats the purpose of owning older moddable adaptable cars doesn't it.

Canada. Everyone races you everywhere. You pull up to a light, try to be fine like you're not racing WRONG YOU'RE RACING, IT IS THE INDY 500.

At least we can drive anything stock as fast as we want. The tradeoff for more lenient vehicle condition is less lenient road rules. Would you trust people like Americans and their modding habits to drive on public roads with no general speed limit?

Southwest of France. Mostly pitiful french rice, but a few real tuned cars (I know there's an Evo9 driving around with 600hp), lifted 4X4s and here and there some murican imports.

Kentucky

We all know what happens here

Denver CO USA

On the streets, it's Subarus fucking everywhere. Evos are very popular for the same reason. Middle class boomers in C5/C6 corvettes. I don't actually see many mustangs or camaros; japanese cars seem to be more popular with the younger crowd. Very few JDM imports; skylines and such are still rare.

At the drag strip, you'll find boomers in old muscle cars and dirtbags in newer mustangs and camaros; typical. At HPR, you'll find 50's balding guys with expensive porsches. Also the occasional BMW driver. There is a small drift scene as well, mostly full of kids in their mid-late 20's that look like they live out of their multi-colored shitmobile.

god what an ugly car

M8 what do you drive?

300zx. you?

The Ford in that picture homie.

We still need to organise the Denver meet.

Can't hate on an old truck.

I'll let someone else take care of a meet. I used to be involved in one of the car scenes around here, but I've grown up and keep it to a really small group these days. No time to babysit. I imagine it would be a similar crowd to "nationwide"

Kek. You know where why good car meets are? Not looking as much for like 2am WAT fest with anime stickers and shit but cars and coffee or nicer meets.

you forgot all the offroaders, kolego
there's a lot of them in Kraków suburbia

>t. ferd shill

2am WAT fest would be the sunday night "nationwideproductions" meets. Look them up on instagram and they post coordinates on sunday evenings. These are huge meets with a lot of rice and younger kids.

There is a colorado cars and coffee if you're into that. I've never gone because it looks like the typical flyover state cars and coffee that's been infested with hot rod boomers and general non-exotic type stuff. You can find them on facebook.

If you want a good meet, you have to curate your own group of cars/friends to your taste and keep it invite-only.

BTW you probably know about all these so don't take it as a patronizing post.

Neat thanks

I meant to add, I didn't know about these. I'll look into them. Boomers are somehow my people whenever I'm at bandimere

There is no escape from Škodas

Vapes, shitty slammed hondas, shitty base engine BMWs with their bodywork falling off, big fuck-off trucks with straight pipes ranging from falling apart to factory new, and ancient economy shitboxes. It's goddamn horrible.

CT, Riced out wrx's bought by the kids parents or riced out civics by the non white class

NYC, Dumped out civics and other old as shit Japanese cars. Some clean Subarus some lifted trucks. I'm kinda just doing me though

Alberta. Everyone is in a truck or SUV. For a couple months a year, people bring out their projects, a handful of sporty little coupes show up. There's one douchebag who rolls around in a Lamborghini and a Ferrari. There's one guy in town with a GTR, but he's actually kinda cool.

Northern California
95% hard parking posers, whether it's cars and coffee or stance nation meetup at in n out at midnight followed by a "drive" through some country backroads at 10-20mph over the speed limit.

Good mix of vehicles though, they get driven all year round because kickass weather.

5% Actually hit track/autox regularly and make use of their cars, about half of these people are cool and the other half are just going through a phase and will go back to hardparking or get cucked and buy a Prius.

Here in California on the streets it's more "stance" scene the only time you will see a heavily modified car is on the tracks or in midnight on the streets. There's a secret area where people race in Fontana for moniez.

Well its not a secret anymore.

Detroit + burbs. around highschool is typical poopoopeepee mustangs and camaro 3's, but not many imports. We have a Sonic on a main road where some nicer cars will show up every once in a while, but they aren't the friendliest. Bunch of middle aged dudes have their obligatory c7s, mustangs, and challengers, but i don't see many camaros. We used to have a yearly MDU competition and some genuinely clean (with some shit) cars would come out to spectate and practice the next day. From my experience cops don't hate it, but they'll pull you over if you're stupid on the 2 lane roads.

Fuck... At least no one knows where it's located.

mostly ratty 90's cars, lots of trucks, boomers with classics, drag cars

This is because you only hang out at parking lot meets with other ricer faggots

> you forgot nazi laws, loss of license,
> up 3 months prison if if found driving without license,
> non deductible tax on cars, >20% tax on cars and fuel,
> shoddy fuel,
> highways tolled like escorts,
> faggots recording every incident and being to be a whistleblower
> anal retentive police,
> centralized network of speed cameras that is supposed to be operational in few weeks,
> most random and inconclusive speed limits
> muh children
> basing decisions on 50 year old "research"
> plans to tax cars on emissions and age, so euro iii shitbox that now costs 1500$, costs 3500$.
> cars are luxury
> natural gas is luxury
> fuck, even electricity is luxury
> registered heating oil sales
> 2+2 road with guard rails and some runoff justifies 32M$/ mile price
> jelly old fucks who want to ban everything
> bluepilled drones who only care about welfare or someone having as bad as them

fuck this country, if one would wish to get rid of this cancer, you have kill more people than during Armenian genocide

Trucks, trucks, trucks, trucks, woah a subaru, rrucks, trucks, nice scion, trucks, trucks, trucks

ok mr Janusz, now pack yourself and choose another country, like Uk, or Germany instead where you have more restricted laws and car maintenace is n times more expensive.

East Tennessee
Mostly off road stuff like jeeps and trucks with some wannabe rally subarus mixed in. There's also some ricers and muscle car owners, but Camaros and Challengers are pretty much only driven by black guys.

Middle Tennessean here, we don't even have those. There's basically no scene here lol

Like Nashville Middle Tennessee or rural Middle Tennessee?

Anyone in here who says there is no scene where they live needs to get out of their mom's basement. There are car guys everywhere. I've met fucking people from bumfuck North Dakota that had little car crews.

Nashville. I plan on moving to a more rural area soon though. It fucking sucks being surrounded by shithead transplants all day

>There's one guy in town with a GTR

Where do you live in Alberta? In Calgary people use GTR's as "winter beaters". Some people here have too much money, like these dicks.

I'm in Chattanooga/Cookeville here. There ain't really shit. Mostly just stock big ass trucks

>ok mr Janusz
touché

Its either old guys in newish econoboxes, young people in old econoboxes that used to belong the old guys or turks in old bmws.

Michigan here. It's alright, just depends on where you go and if you go to a big event. The Woodward Dream Cruise always brings out a lot of variety in cars. Too bad driving at any given time in the cities sucks absolute dick.

lol, it's because I only hang out at track/autocross and am blown away at how many more people show up for shitty 'meets' when I go get fast food or coffee in the morning.

Drove by a shitty go-kart place last Saturday, nearly a hundred stanced shitboxes I've never seen before handing out crappy plastic trophies in the middle of fucking nowhere. There must be thousands of them vs. the ~100 regular autocrossers and ~100-200 track rats.

Riced civics with gtr badges and riced sentras with type r badges.

while somewhat true (not the second part though) how are you going to leave out the fact that we do have a shit ton of genuinely nice cars in this state?

Esp in the wealthier area's.

Caffeine and Carburetors in New Cannaan is a great representation of Connecticut's automotive scene then any other meet

Canada, AB
JDM shit, boomers driving their boomer cars in the summer and noticeably an increase of Evos getting imported. Evos and Subarus are the most common RHD import

Australia

would be better if the police were'nt nazis. can literally get fines for going 1km/h over the speed limit. Most bogans hide their cool shit in their sheds and dd a mazda 121 or some other econobox out of fear of shit being stolen or defected

Amerilard, Central Florida

Mainly puertoricans in K swapped civics on nitrous or turbo b series engines.

There's a few guys locally with 750hp+ evo 8's on e85.

A handful of FD rx7's. There's an importer about an hour away that keeps R32's in stock so I'm seeing alot of those lately.

North of Mexico... Rice, tsurus and some drag races. Rich people buy bmw's and amg's. Used car market is shit and companies didn't import good cars till the 2000. Roads are pathetic, even rally cars would get destroyed by them.

SE Texas. Lifted trucks that say ID RATHER BE CUMMIN THAN STROKIN, DODGE THE FATHER RAM THE DAUGHTER, mexicans in riced out civics, nigs in american land barges, a few fucbois in fiesta st's and subarus. Most car culture revolves around trucks, with a diesel 4x4 3/4 ton with a slight lift being the symbol of "i make at least 70k a year in a chemical plant/refinery"

What is the car that a blue collar mexican aspires to own there? Like what would a normal person consider a reliable solid choice? Nissan or some american car?

Southern US
>Mustangs, Camaros, and Challengers every-fucking-where
>lowered early 2000's trucks with gaudy chrome 22's, shaved bumpers, eBay HIDs, and cheap LED light bars

I get "raced" by at least one of them each day.
>tfw I have a C5 and easily walk from all of them

>Bay Area

>Mexicans with Civics
>Donked JDMs
>Boomers with """"muscle"""" cars
>Kids revving with custom V6 Mustangs
>Indians with BMWs

Coffs WHAT UP BRAH.

I don't know why but they all really seem to like civics, but they also love old american muscle cars.

tfw spending £19,000 on a 500hp R32gtr and only make £23k

North Iceland
Patrols/land cruisers/hilux and many other kinds on 38" tires or larger
b m w e 3 6 welded diff and cut springs
Few nice imprezas
Putting cars in storage from October til May because winter
Old guys who still jerk off over mustangs and novas

oh and "brand new american truck with a sled bed, look how rich I am"

Sacramento, California.
Ricers, econoboxes and lifted trucks.

Shitty beat up late 90's Jap Crap with paint falling off and suspension that looks lowered but its just lard ass coconuts.
Subaru's with dings in the doors and roof, because punching your roof is cool if your black.
> South Auckland, New Zealand

Is there a safe place to drive sideways a little in kraków? I've been here for like a year and a half and there is literally no place to learn. Although I heard that they are building a racetrack of sorts outside of nowa huta.

I have no idea
I'm googling that right now

update:
you're fucked until they build that track

The highlights of your commute does not constitute 'local car culture'

Get outside more.

Apparently they promised to build it by the end of '16. So taking in the account the way everything is done here I hope they will finish it before summer.

Up in Colorado, we have a heavy population of WRX and Jeep owners. Its rare I see cool shit, but I saw a bone stock, clean mx62 cressida this week. Did a double take it was so nice.

Also
>Rice BMW's and Rice Hondas

Then there's me and my conquest,

Was expecting you in here ;p

Thinking about it, I see waaayyy to many C4's, C5's, and C6's here. Where I live, a lower spec Charger, Camaro, and Mustang is not uncommon.

>300ZX
Where I work, I sometimes see an unmolested pearl white z31 300zx turbo. Makes me jealous. I don't see a lot of z32's either. The last one I saw was a N/A one that was slammed and a dindu was driving it through my neighborhood.

youtube.com/watch?v=H_2LmZj1bgc
Vid from the last cardays. Yearly event it always turns into a bunch of illegal drifting

alabama
trash

>tfw don't know local car culture because I never leave the house except to go to work

from my house to my workplace I see lots of trucks and regular econoboxes. Maybe the occasional land yacht

Lawrence, Kansas

I don't even know if Wisconsin has an auto scene. Never looked into it. My guess is it's guys with trucks and boomermobiles from the 70s and 80s.

There isn't really a "car culture" in terms of modding in Germany, for reasons explained in this thread.

But I found a 2016 study on the most common car types on German roads and from my own experience it's very accurate.
I think it's interesting, if anyone has similar stats for their country feel free to post.

Most common car types in Germany:
>sedan (25%)
>hatchback (25%)
>wagon (25%)
>minivan (6%)
>SUV/crossover (5%)
>coupe (5%)
>convertible (3%)
>van (2%)
>other (5%)

I reckon it's quite a lot different from America, maybe not so different from other EU countries.

NYC here,

Fuckton of econoboxes (seems like 30% of cars on the road are either a Camry, Corolla, or Civic)

Otherwise a very hearty number of douchenozzles in their generic BMWs and Infinitis. This is closely followed by Nissan Altimas. Lexus is slightly less popular.

More SUV's than sedans on the roads.

And then there's me, in my 2014 GT Mustang (Mustangs in NYC are pretty rare)

No they aren't. I'm the other nyc bro here I see em everywhere. Unless you are speaking about Manhattan as NYC...then yeah I can see that.

Lol coffs user is still here

Meet up cunt

I'm in Brooklyn. I literally sat there once watching the traffic on the belt parkway and it took 25 minutes for a mustang to pass by.

Although, I'll admit, there are about 5-6 of them within a 4 block radius from me.
