It's a DCT so that is forgivable. DCTs are the only acceptably automatics since, at their core, they are manuals.

Yeah but no complicated clutch pedal & dct is soo much cheaper & easier to replace when it fails from having more parts to go wrong with.

They're still less likely to fail then their conventional automatic counterparts.

My roommate has a base model soul. I assume it's the 130 hp version. Seems like a fine car. A little more power wouldn't hurt it. Seems like a sensible DD as long as kia does the econobox dct better than Ford did. If you're cross shopping it with a Fiesta ST, GTI, etc. then you're doing it wrong.

I know how to drive manual. I dd one. If I have to give up a manual option, a DCT is perfectly acceptable, unlike normal autos or cvts
