The beauty of TMRs is that before you muster enough autism to get them you whine at how hard they are to obtain, but after you finally start getting them yourself you should start feeling glad that not everyone who just starts playing the game can immediately reach your level.

Even the waliest of whales should still take a month or two to start getting up to speed as a new player or on a reroll.

So I'm re-playing FFXII and I feel retarded. Usually it would be a no-brainer to equip my primary melee guy with heavy armor, but heavy armor doesn't seem to give any excess defense over light armor, and light armor gives extra HP.

Although if memory serves me right the only melee weapon that doesn't scale directly off strength is....poles?
