WORST JOBS

ITT: we list the worst possible jobs in existence that you know of, whether you or anyone you know has. the shit that would literally make you want to kill yourself. i'll start

customer service.
for an online casino site.

i believe this is one of the few jobs where you have the opportunity to deal with the lowest and worst of human trash, without exceptions, all the time, on a daily basis.

fast food worker - you have to work hard and it's minimum wage

at least you don't have to deal with that shit in person.
>worked at mcdonalds as food prep/cashier
>current work at Walmart as cashier
fuck standing all day and making $9 per hour, literal slave wage.good thing I'm a student and only work full time during summer. fuck this job

This, so much this. Being a 21 year old college student (So thinking about just dropping out) and working at 2 minimum wage jobs is absolutely pathetic.

I have to be respectful, work hard and the customers are assholes who don't respect me.

Im sorry I wasn't born in middle class or higher, yes it is my fault im a poorfag fucking degenerate young adult. When all other jobs are getting harder and harder to get into.

Seriously fuck people.

Being a cook is simultaneously great and fucking awful.
I love cooking and working together with my fellow cooks. It builds up some strong kinship, but dealing with the long, long hours, terrible pay and entitled wait staff that complain about THEIR pay all day while they make 5 times what you do for half the work.

Also being a bouncer is pretty fucking ass.

Dude shut the fuck up. I'm a cook and I don't even have to make the food. Here at McDonalds all I have to do is put the patties on burgers and top with condements

Notice how I said "wait staff". I'm talking about a place that makes actual food.

>actual food
>Mcdonalds

Dude, I think people go to McDonalds to fucking eat

I mentioned a place that has a wait staff, so I'm clearly not talking about fast food. Try using those brain cells.

I work FOH here. I love the dudes at BOH. Hope those fuckers don't think I am entitled as BOH is truly a stressful place.

With that said, there is a reason you are in the BOH, and I’m in the FOH. Also, there is just as much work out there as inside if you are in the type of environments I'm used to.

Thank you, CHEF!

>there is just as much work out there as inside

Bullshit. You spend downtime on your phone. I spend it prepping.

Take it from me, 27 years old finally about to graduate, don't drop out. As long as you aren't going for an absolute shit-tier degree you'll be able to find a decent job after graduating. Otherwise you better pick up a trade but they aren't always what they are cracked up to be. Find an internship, stay close with your professors, and network network network.

This is future you telling you not to fuck up.

Sacked groceries as a kid. Was nice to look all the worthless cucks in the eye as they stole my paycheck every month.

Worked at a quarry for some real shit bags for a while. That shit sucked... equipment sucked... like 15 employees and we hired and ran off 22 my first year. Should a quit my first day when I got sent home for 3 days on a 4 day workweek. Breaking 40k at 12 bucks an hour was cool. Fucking 84 hour work weeks after the first month.

I pulled a lot of wells and bucked a lot of hay bales growing up.

Made me tough though I guess.

Taking the hard work ethic I been passing away into my investments

I dropped out twice. I'd suggest not unless u want shit jobs like this till u die

Anything retail or fast food based is the abyss. Like user put itYou service these people with a smile and respect and they treat you like a second class citizen even if they work the same job too. I cannot wait until my career lifts off so I can never return to this shit again. Can't stand the fucking condescending tones of old fucks who got off lucky in their generation. I can't even stand it when younger people who have no concept of the real world come in and try to express their opinions like how anyone. I'm always one inch from beating someone into a coma.

like how anyone after a certain age shouldn't work these jobs*

knock knock knock house keeping

did that before because they gave me a free room and food. the job was so degrading, meaningless, repetitive and demanding. you suck jesus's dick when a room was left okay with just one bed used.

>woke up, cried out my head
>stared in a mirror, wishing I was dead
>found some puke on the floor, so I cleaned it up
>and looking up, I noticed they fucked everywhere

>I found my rag and grabbed my spray
>made the same bed 30 times today
>found my way to the next room and grabbed the key
>somebody nagged and want into a anurism

ooooooOOOOO ahhhhhhhhh AHHHHHHH AHHHH

Any support function (a cost center rather than revenue generation function) in a global organization.

Companies only care about bottom line, not how they get there. You get more and more responsibility and stress and low money.

But i'm stuck in it, despite my friends thinking I have a "good job" I absolutely hate it with all my soul.

I work at vanguard in a call center environment. It's the worst thing ever. Everyone is clinically depressed and hates it. I dream everyday of simply walking out...

I'm currently in an internship. It's absolutely soul destroying. I feel like I'm a bad fit or something, idk. It's depressing and I can't wait for it to be fucking over.

Honestly I think the main reason I hate it is because I started it knowing it was coming with an expiration date and at this point I can't wait to be done and go back to school. Secondly this internship is out of state and I have a roommate here, which is absolutely fucking lame. Back home I have my own apartment where I can be by myself. I fucking hate living with other people, I've been on my own since I was 18 (I'm 29 atm, ex military).

Professional kneepad executive

Working at 99% of big corporations, like big chain retailers, parcel companies, etc.

Shit pay and you're treated like garbage by the big suits. Not worth.

IT Help Desk

just about anything in the restaurant business fucking sucks. Long hours, lot's of side works, no day off even have to work harder on holidays, and the smell when you come home after work ... FUCK
