The DB supports modcards. Milk and the two Kantoku cards at least have their mods built in.

I think the better question is whether we want to get in the habit of releasing only the mod-packed cards or if we want double releases with a normal version of the card alongside the one with the mods built in. Do people care if their AAU cards are all 10-30 MB compared to the old 100Kb per card?

That's pretty big for a card. I would say putting the mods in is more of a convenient way to to get it working. But I don't know if that's a good idea for the servers or anything.

Is Kouri supposed to be transparent?

I'm confident that I'm running AAU because when I press Q, viewpoint changes, which is an AAU feature.

view the card in the maker with AAU running. it should have the mods extracted to data/override.

It offered to extract files in a dialog, and files are there in the override directory, but the girl is still opaque.

just run the game again under AAU - sometimes the maker doesn't display AAU cards properly. if everything is in place, the card SHOULD work.

AAU is probably copying the meshes into the wrong folder. (root folder) it's some bug with AAU which I don't know the cause or solution of. I know that bug was in version 7 and 8, dunno if it's still in 9.

So the procedure to see AAU cards is to first open them in editor and only afterwards put them into the game, right?

depends if the author packed the mods inside the card or not. it's always a safe bet to check the AAU card through the maker though.

It amazes me that you guys can keep this general alive with such a shallow game. I mean, more power to ya, I'm just surprised. Could barely find more than a day's entertainment out of it once I got it set up, myself.

It's fun when you want to create something. It's not a game for quick faps.

I hope next game illusion puts a lot more effort into the hair.
I realized that anime tend to have the same face with small variations (the eyes) but the hair is what makes the girl.

If they do things like add hair transparency, highlight changes, and possibly customizable hair like how black desert allows you to move the hair bones around. Also, 2 tone hair seems to be a thing as well.
Next emphasis I think would be outfits, but since I believe the game will be on unity I have no doubt that it will be a problem.
So what do you guys think?

If it's gonna be in unity, i think i'm going to be more worried about the lighting.
If anything hair can always be modded in.

I was thinking more about things illusion could add that would take modding some time to develop. Something like 2 tone hair that you can change the color of would be a thing they could implement into the base game without the use of mods. But yeah eventually if its popular enough mods could make it better.
