Bit of a long shot question, but anyone know where to farm B+ type blood in Mary Skelter postgame? Only place I can find is lower tower, which is bad because enemies there give almost no EXP. Would prefer to farm xp/blood simultaneously.
Tried 2ch archives but most of them were complaining about A type, not B+

I guess there's some similarity.

And with that Ciel Nosurge youtube translation is finished. What a ride has it been. Now I can start my second Ar Nosurge playtrough in peace on PS3
Logan Reyes
6k yen each. Kinda expensive, but they're like twice as large as the standard shop bonus B2 tapestries (these ones are slightly larger than B1), and the material is thicker and is just better made overall.
Yep, the materials are thicker and much heavier than the typical tapestry. I haven't hanged them yet, I need to get new hooks first.
Wyatt Ward
Have you platted the vita version already?
Owen Reed
No but I only had a digital copy of the game and I really wanted a physical copy once I beat the game. And my local gamestop had a single copy of the game so of course I had to get it.
Speaking of platting it, I might go for it this time.
Thomas Richardson
Im the new PS Vita owner from the last thread asking about games.
is there any must have PS Vita accessories to make things better?
thanks
Grayson Edwards
It might be just me I play too much yugioh yesterday with a friend
Easton Young
PS3 version is missing some nice bathtalks though, hopefully you at least got those with the Vita version. I platted both, enjoyed my time with it.
Isaiah King
The cimmerian queen armor looks pretty nice, has a bit of a yakuza feel going on.
Oliver Mitchell
titty ninjas, vlakyrie drives, neps, countless other weeb shit
Adam Garcia
Just a memory card, I guess. Also, screen protectors and such
Hunter Lee
I just have a carrying case and that's pretty much it. Some people put screen protectors which may be wise, I don't have one and nothing has happened in these little bit over 3 years but if you aren't as lazy as I am it would probably be better to have one.
Caleb Gonzalez
On second play through the game really sucks.

snap on cover helps, can be found on amazon, just double check its for the vita version you have.
Part of it: >For business' sake, want to try new genres and possibly turn them into one of the pillars. >Also trying to find new fans. >Chose horror since CEO+director like it. >Originally not a horror game but some kind of RPG so that core users are more likely to enjoy it. >They felt that it's harder for RPGs to be scary if it involves defeating the monsters, so they changed it to the current form.
>Death Mark is 2D, like the older adventure games, but with a small system attached. >They want it to be scary, though there are some discussion as to what kind and how to execute it. >Although there are scenarios, it's more of an exploration type of game. >i.e. going around searching for clues and information to solve the current problem, as well as some thinking to handle situations.

I dislike the Atelier games but liked NoA and am looking forward to this.
Little iffy on the next NoA game though. The first one wrapped up so perfectly.
Carson Wright
>I dislike the Atelier games
Please tell you are basing that off Arland/Dusk games and not the new ones because the new games a 100% shit.
Zachary Torres
Sophie is terrible.
Jackson Wood
Sophie was very decent and Firis was great >EOPs
Luis Price
Stop.
Jordan Clark
>Firis was great I only saw people saying that firis was shit
Dominic Roberts
It had a lot of bugs at launch which was pretty shitty, but the actual designs and gameplay were great. Not that it matters since it's going to be ruined by the taint of pcfags either way.
Adam Murphy
>ruined by the taint of pcfags either way pcfags didn't ruined disgaea You should have hope
What's the heaviest armor line in toukiden? Is it the maledictaur line?
Jace Cruz
Sorry bro, played all post Arland Atelier games on japanese release date, Sophie was so bad I never even bought Firis. Also calling anyone that disagress with you an "EOP" gives Japanese Only Players a rep, please stop.
Sophie is dog shit, deal with it. Killed the series catering to casuals.
>didn't actually play it >literally blinded by nostalgia >thinks atelier was never not the same level of casual I bet this guy can't even beat evilking on despair WWWWW
Noah Johnson
That's because it's true, story is bad and the gameplay was buggy, ps4 ruined ateliers, instead of focusing on good characters and good gameplay they focused on visuals and now the games look like shit and play like shit. Worst of both worlds.
Atelier died when they went 3d for the story scenes. At least the fixed the crashes. I don't think I crashed even once on Sophie.
Sebastian Reed
Why would I buy Firis if I hated Sophie? Also after reading reviews I told myself I'd wait for a sale.
Joshua Martinez
Didn't you just straight up just admit that you never bought it
Dominic Davis
>Japanese Only Players JOPs for short
Joshua Mitchell
No time for sleep.
Joshua Wilson
Watched all the story scenes on youtube, and read the reviews of the gameplay. To be fair this was near launch I have no idea if they fixed the gameplay which was soo buggy. The story is pretty bad particularity how Sophie was kinda just jammed into the story, when she is an irrelevant character even in her own story, Prafta is the real hero.
Camden Thomas
>thinking arland was ever not casual with relatively one-dimensional alchemy and completely one-dimensional three-member combat High difficulty Sophie/Firis combat takes a hell of a lot more strategy than Totori. I'm starting to think you never played it to begin with, or are a blatant nostalgiafaggot. >b-but I watched youtube videos with a TOTALLY non-biased viewpoint that was totally not skewed
Luis Kelly
I don't like using JOP/EOP they are intentionally inflammatory words and I'd rather people not thing I'm one of those people that like to spoil games or look down on others just because I wanted 3 years of my life learning a dead language because I have no friends.
Carson Gomez
Fuck I can't type for shit today

don't do that user please, vitagen needs you

You can keep liking the game if you want, they are still really bad -compared- to Arland and even Dusk is better.
>Arland and Dusk have better characters Rorona/Totori > Sophie/Firis
>better gameplay Time limits keep the game from becoming a grind fest, Alchemy costing time and Mana actually mattered, more endings and ways to get stuck on a bad end
>better visuals and character design, and artistic direction Kishida and Hidari vs porn artist and a literally who Areas ranging from plains to the ruin of ancient civilizations
>More at stake in the story. Beloved Atelier being closed down due to government regulations, need to get my ass in gear or I'll get shut down by an oppressive anti small business government
Going to become an adventurer to find my long lost mother, need to get my ass in gear or she will fucking die!
My backwater kingdom is in crisis, and I need to get my ass in gear or my family's dynasty will collapse.
vs
I like helping people and nothing bad will ever happen, ever.
In what way if any is Mystery better than Arland or Dusk?
Leo Hughes
>Maria To be fair, Maria is, hands down, the best Gust song ever
Dylan Watson
I'd highly recommend you get a wrist strap and a screen protector.
Dominic Morales
I just use either a matte or oleophobic screen protector. You can get grips I guess, but they just feel worse to me. I have a metal shell if I ever need to just toss it into a bag or something, but I typically just let it be naked.
Maybe get one of those pisen usb adapters so you can charge from more devices (e.g. generic wall chargers).
Andrew Williams
>they are still really bad -compared- to Arland and even Dusk is better. How are they bad compared to Arland? They're objectively better in every way. I could see the argument for certain dusk games with intuitive alchemy, combat, and even atmosphere in ayesha's case, but arland? That's just nostalgia bullshit.
I never mentioned music you insecure twat. I'll agree that Sophie's ost was totally forgettable save for Liela Xea, but you've already gone and done some cherry picking of your own so it might as well be just as good.
>>better visuals and character design, and artistic direction Literally subjective for the most part. I'd agree with Dusk's art with landscapes and the like being far superior but again, Arland has jack shit to offer. Even more one dimensional characters and areas with dated assets and uninspired inconsistent artistic direction.
>>More at stake in the story. Holy shit you're dense, the entire well-being of the world was at stake in Sophie, did you even pay attention?
Nathaniel Lopez
I'm curious as to how many people have played any Atelier game older than the Iris series
Brody Howard
>How are they bad compared to Arland? They're objectively better in every way. Expect all the ways I listed?
>I never mentioned music you insecure twat. Because it's shit in Sophie
>cherry picking Sorry those games have amazing tracks?
>Literally subjective for the most part. Sophie's characters are over designed man, and the artistic direction is split and conflicts hard.
>Holy shit you're dense, the entire well-being of the world was at stake in Sophie
Does the world actually end if you don't get your ass in gear? No. Does Totori's mom actually die if you don't get your ass in gear? YES!
Isaiah Clark
...
Hunter Rivera
>Holy shit you're dense, the entire well-being of the world was at stake in Sophie, did you even pay attention? Nothing ever felt in important in Sophie. It was a huge slog with no real motivation, even story wise for all the time I put into it until dropping it. Maybe the story picked up dozens and dozens of hours in, but I am not going to play a game that is a snooze-fest for 40 hours to only get good in the final act.
NoA, let you know shit was going bad right from the start, just for comparisson.
Jordan Kelly
Does anyone but a couple reddit posters actually have and play all those Vita games?
Jace Bailey
Sorry but when I see people compare Mystery to good atelier games it makes me angry because i had SUCH HIGH expectations for the games. Instead what I got was happy go lucky nothing ever goes wrong causal games. To be fair that started in Dusk, where if you don't save Nio, Keith just Deus Ex Machina saves her. It got progresively worse, to the point where Mystery has nothing driving you forward.
Part of the greatness of Arland was the very sad and emotional bad ends, it MADE you want to see the good end. It MADE you want to get better.
Jeremiah Bell
>Expect all the ways I listed? >Expect That aside, how about all of the reasons I listed? The combat, alchemy, graphics, and characters being overall improved?
>Because it's shit in Sophie I literally agree overall, but you're only cherry picking the best examples to compare to the worst
>>cherry picking >Sorry those games have amazing tracks? Most of those games had, what, one or two amazing tracks? Ayesha I can understand but Totori? That's rich.
>Sophie's characters are over designed man, and the artistic direction is split and conflicts hard. I can understand the conflicting artstyles but overdesigned? It's not like Arland didn't have the same kind of overdesign when it comes to characters, look at this shit. >b-but the characters have actual development instead of being one-dimensional anime gimmick characters that means they're overdesigned right?
And nice to see you're admitting you never payed attention to sophie's overall plot and "more at stake". Of course there's no gameplay ramifications to failing because time-based restrictions were retarded and archaic, but failing story-wise would be catastrophic.
Your expectations are unattainable because you're blinded by nostalgia and unwilling to accept anything objectively, and can only manifest your criticisms in "but it's not edgy so it must be bad :((" To add, the time limtied endings in arland-dusk in particular are archaic and tedious for the sake of actually finishing the fucking game.
Logan Mitchell
why did they make oscar skinny
Gavin Murphy
So for all you mad about Disgaea on Switch, it's confirmed for 720p/30 fps with frame drops by DigitalFoundry. So don't worry about it.
Ryan Bailey
Not really. Disgaea kind of sucks (I never liked it at least) and it's bound to happen since Sony has given up on vita.
Jeremiah Diaz
People like different things. You're both arguing your subjective opinions so you'll never convince the other that you're right. I liked the Dusk games the most, and the Arland games the least though I still liked them all. I don't go around saying that series of them is bad since I happened to like it the least because people enjoy different things about them, and forcing my opinions on others won't change anything. It's okay that others think differently.
Joshua Hughes
No, I don't actually care if games get ported. If it gets more money to devs to make more games, good for them. I just enjoy playing games on my vita, man.
