Unless they give more shipments before release I doubt you'll be able to get one without a pre-order short of being in the middle of nowhere. There are still some available at Gamestops depending on your location but I get the feeling they'll probably be pre-ordered by the 3rd.

I was at the launch event in new York. The reason botw is at 900p and 30fps, according to the Nintendo workers there, is that it is the E3 build. They said that the build at launch for switch will be 1080p 60fps
