The moment you hit bongo is instant gratification though. And it gets even better with upgrades.

Bongo is a decent bote and certainly better than the previous ones, but even she has been a little underwhelming lately, probably because of the MM changes compared to back when she got to be a bully more often.
Meanwhile the Fuso is probably one of my favorite ships at the moment, even with the shoddy T6 MM. She feels like she's where the line really takes off and becomes great, I guess because she's amazing in the rare cases that she's top tier while also being able to punch up when she's mid/bottom tier decently well too.

german BBs made bongo somewhat underwhelming. she is the better BC but agaunst a brawling german it just falls short.

once you get used to bongo you just cant adapt to usn BBs. she has range and speed, she can dodge and still alpha with a nice pen. shes that good.

Priority target might be useful for knowing how many DDs are around, provided you're the juiciest target around.

i think priority target is nothing but a meme. it may be useful for cruisers or DDs that get close up but for a BB?

Manual AA or CE on my Arizona/Texas captain? MAA doesn't do anything for Texas but it feels like it might really help out Arizona's anemic AA by at least bringing her long range AA dps up to 116 at least, on the other hand 12km concealment seems pretty good too.

Doesn't really work for that because they're not necessarily going to target you and you have no way of telling if it's them or some other BBs/CAs behind them that are targeting you or not.

If you are going AA, I suggest preventive maintenance, so that HE spam would destroy your AA mounts slower

I like to sneak around with my NC/Iowa for flanks. I sometimes get detected for a few seconds.

Priority target would tell me if somebody noticed me long enough to get a target lock but not enough to fire at me.

That knowledge would help me relocate as needed.

It feels dirty. You literally have Cruiser detection range and with your speed, you can get to locations fast enough to catch enemies at very vulnerable positions.

I can't count how many times I've 1-salvo deleted broadside BBs and CAs just because they never expected me to be there.
