I agree. For me its also useful because those little bars are timers for spells as well. I finally know when my stupid candlelight spell is going to expire for example. Also its kept vague for compatibility with all mods.

None because active effects are a feature of SkyUI and SkyUI gets hidden when you use tm.

I don't know if he's lying or not, I don't think he has any reason to, but I had issues with "tm" at first with mgexe plugins, where it hid the main hud but not the added hud elemets. Namely the clock in the upper right corner. Also didn't hide the companion health bar when it was being used.
