I warned you all

>shitkat thinks he's white

this is old man thread

>ASV C6 levers aren't available for my bike
>ASV C5 levers are $300 for a pair
>they're just levers, no perches or anything
wew lad

tfw a 600 supersport isnt really that fast

No HID's here, the aux hi-beams are LED.

Why do we go fast

ssrmotorsports.com/store/street/razkull.php

...

Yeah also they're just that. "Just levers". You're not getting your money's worth over $15 eBay chinkshit levers with similar adjustment (as long as said chinkshit is decent alloy).

anyone in Thailand can get me some mutarru racing grips?

To run from our past

mfw my liter bike isn't really that fast either.

gonna end up with a zx-14 or hayabusa down the line.

Ain't no shame being fast

What is that nig mod towel for?

>straight line warriors

Better than nobikes. Hint hint.

>carbed

>8hp
So it's seriously underpowered even for a 125cc? Hilarious.

clean your helmet shield off or wipe bike down. Pretty usefull to just have on bike.

Yeah. I'm going to have metal handguards that don't twist soon enough, so it's not like they even have to be durable, I just want something short and nice to use with one or two fingers.

$16 ebay levers on $14k bike here I come.

Why don't you stuff it underseat? Looks ridiculous stuffed behind the cluster.

It's a cute little Monster!

How's the wind noise with the little windshield?

I've got a naked bike, and I prefer the look and lack of plastic, and I don't get fatigued by the wind. But the noise..

I've tried to fit some aftermarket windshields before and they actually made it worse no matter how I adjusted them (tried smaller and larger ones). Less wind on my chest but none stopped the noise at my ears.

Considering getting a faired bike next, but haven't test ridden any.

...

>2 grand
just get a k-pipe at that price point, even one year old they're $1600 and being a kymco you'll at *least* have somewhere to take it when something breaks

Thats where I store my gloves, water, and my tool kit. Plus can take it out faster from there to wipe shield off then to stop and take out of seat.

Wear ear plugs like hearos or other high fidelity ones. Wind noise is what causes hearing damage in the long run on bikes. But it does help when you tuck in.

>just ordered 7000 lumen LED replacement headlight bulb
I have a feeling this may be too bright.
Pic related is 3800 lumen

Protip: just cut your fucking levers with an angle grinder. Costs about 1kWh electricity and 3% off the life of the cutting disc.

Pic related. Works wonders.

Oh, makes sense I guess.

I do wear plugs. And to be fair I have a relatively cheap helmet. But it's the fact that the windshields i tried actually made it worse that scares me. Got way more buffeting and inconsistent air flow with the shields on, wouldn't wanna live with that after the naked bike.

>no rear disk
No soda

I thought about it, but I'd like something with a little better shape to it, and bending them they would just snap. My clutch lever is almost straight.

...

Bugs on winshield is annoying so use it to wipe off or even in rain.
Would say get a sport bike than cause wind noise is always going to be worse on upright bikes. But honestly even on my klx 300 once I put ear plugs in it was perfect so idk if you have shit ear plugs or something.

Shame, worked fabulously for me and was practically free.

Still looking for anime tank protector user.

doesn't it have a brembo front brake? shouldn't need shorties to clear the other fingers anyway.

Unless they cheaped out and put a garbage master cylinder on it and only spent the minimum on the brembo caliper to have the brand appeal for tards.

Like how? Sport bike squishy kind?

It does, brake is fine, clutch I need a shorty though, and I have to have them match because I'm autistic.

nuts to that, leave the front brake lever and get this shit for the other side.

clake.com.au/clake-two-dual-standard-control/

Hand brake + clutch combo

>2500 mile maintenance coming up

>crash the bike

Oo boy 2 birds with 1 stone.

rideable?

Yes

It's missing a foot peg though

Ye

Can you not find them?

I suppose more of what I'm asking is a recommendation for a good custom tank protector manufacturer.

I just googled it.
First result is immortal graffix custom designs

Aww ye
immortalgraphix.com/all-in-tank-pad/

There's a Honda Nighthawk around for $1500

Am I an idiot for getting this as a first timer

The 80's aesthetic is impossible to resist

>80hp
>0-60 3.4 seconds
>first timer
Don't get yourself killed user.

It weighs like 2 tons
He will be fine

It weighs 497 pounds wet

It's a deceptively small 700cc

Right. So 80hp feels like nothing

If you break something you're going to have a hell of a time finding parts

torque is the figure you would want to pay attention to on cruisers. most liter bikes are around 80 lb/ft on a 400-450 wet weight so scale that for your bike and you'll have any idea of how peppy it is or isn't. 80hp is going to have shit top end though

You just went full retard.

It's clearly not a cruiser user

do people have no idea what horsepower and torque actually do or what.

you do know that basically any bike that isn't a ***beginner*** bike has a sub 4s 0-60 right?

But he is a beginner.

What the fuck did I just read

Looks like a toy.

>implying I'm good enough or need or want an LHRB

never seen one of these before, pretty neat

I'm in my late 20's. That's pretty old for 4chang

>not wanting race a shitbike
Its like you guys hate fun

I really want a 175cc shitbike to fuck around on.

XR100 seems super competitive.
CR150R seems the next logical
TTR125 is light and fun too

Xr100 I might get at some point for a pit bike just because of how cheap they are

Get a yz85

Ill be getting one soon. Unless i can find a klx 140 for cheaper. Which i doubt

I wonder if you can swap the instrument cluster with the one from Nighthawk 650 for Maximum Mega 80's Overdrive

I feel bad for this company

Money is money.
I would do the same thing without question

why not just get a full sized dirt bike?
they cost about the same as kids dirt bikes.

who /sleepwithyourhelmet/ here?

I fell asleep sitting on my bike waiting for someone in a parking lot once.

Shoulda bought a cruiser for comfier bike naps

I have two full size bikes.
And they do not cost $500

well good ones don't.

Right.
And a full size bike isnt as fun to thrash and toss around
And parts are crazy cheap for xr100s and the like.

I once fell asleep and had a dream I was cuddling pic related. I woke up with my arms wrapped around my helmet and a little less will to live

I was pretty comfy to fall asleep.

get on my level

That was a lit day 2bh

truuuuuuu

should have worn sunglasses fuk

Depends on the design. Chinkshit levers can have problems properly actuating any plungers and switches because of the poor QC. One will always have the brake light on, the other will always be depressed just a little, etc

As long as your brakes are literally just a cable and all light-related switchgear is operated by something other than the lever they're fine, otherwise get out your dremel and some JB weld

>should have worn sunglasses fuk
is ok because you can still gib de succ

Most people don't.

>m-muh torks

every single fucking time

Right that's it, I'm selling the VFR. I need a 2stroke in my life and the RD400 is legal stock on my license.

Hey /dbt/,

/trv/fag here. I'm looking to buy a new or used bike that I can take on a Pan-American trip from Michigan to either Panama or Argentina, depending on how much time and money I can afford losing. While I've only just begun planning, I'm hoping to depart either in May or September of next year. This is essentially going to be my graduation gift to myself.

Don't have a huge budget and am trying to find something reliable and suitable for long-distance adventure-touring under $10k. Seems like a toss-up between the KLR 650 and V-Strom 650, with my inclination being towards the Wee.

Few people have suggested the BMW 650 GS and CB500x.

Any other ideas?

>inb4 possible stupid memes about cartels or traffic
>I've already traveled a fair amount around Latin America and learned to ride a few years ago in India

Pic not really related - took it while stuck in traffic in New Delhi a few months back.

R u 4 real?
Send vfr

Torks is instant torque
Hp is power over time
That's why you multiply torque with RE VO LU SHION
WAKE UP THE SLEEPING SAMURAI

Don't buy new?
10k is waaaaaaaaaaaay too much
