I started at the Sanae/Kaede event (Groove), so I am not quite sure how the event for Lunatic Show works yet. Can I play any type of song for points/tokens, or are there specific ones?

From my understanding I play songs like I normally would and earn tokens to then play the Event song? I then can use the points to get Sachiko (or I just automatically get it when I reach points like it did with Sanae), while I have to rank to get Koume?

Play any song to get tokens, those tokens are used to play the event song which is the main way of gaining points.

The way it is now is that you can get both cards as long as you hit 20k points, so there's no need to rank unless you want to.

Ranking for Koume depends of the duration of the event, but unless it's a 6 day event, you'll get her by playing normally

Thanks. Are there certainly difficulty levels that are considered more efficient for stamina and points? I can full combo stuff like Hotel Moonside and 2nd Side on Pro, and they use up quite a bit of stamina, but I want to stay at Pro rather than going to Regular just so that I can maintain some progress skill-wise.

S ranking on Master is the way to go, but just do what you can do and you'll manage.

Higher stamina consumption = more tokens, the higher levels being more cost efficient. Score or FC doesn't matter as long as you get that S rank.
