I ask this because before the alien hunters dlc vipers were customizable and had XCOM logos on their armor, and the mod author isn't giving us the model or even releasing a separate mod that doesn't require alien hunters
If there are any modders here XCOM skins for aliens would make me a happy commander

Instead of upgrading weapon tiers you have to buy the individual weapons in Long War 2? How does that interact with mods? In the old system, the weapon with the mods would automaticaly go to the next tier. How does this work with Long War 2? Does Long War 2 give you the ability to remove your weapon mods to put on your next tier weapon?

For someone experienced with modeling and modding xcom, literally less than a couple hours.

>add greebles if they're necessary to complete the look
>probably don't even have to fiddle with weights much
>test animations, make adjustments if necessary
>export model for use in-game
>do modder things so it's a selectable or default armor

I figure it's an 8-hour job at most and could plausibly be done in 2 hours if everything goes perfectly smoothly.

Is there any UI indicator for concealment/sneakiness in long dong 2? Nigs have different detection radius' because of it but I can't see any specifics about it on the loudout screen.

This. If you want new stuff though, that would take considerably longer. But if it's just adapting existing gear to them it's really easy.

Late-ish game ability. Functionally identical to bind except you need to kill the viper to stop it rather than just damage them.

Does anyone know how weapon mods(ie. Scopes, stocks, barrels) and upgrading and buying new tier weapons work?

Yes.
You can have up to 10 soldiers on a mission.
However this is bad for infiltration because it means it will take longer, and cause more enemies to appear on the map.

I know Beagle said he would still do his modded campaign even though Long War 2 was coming, but considering how fast it came out and how much it changed and how many new mechanics it introduced (alot of the new pod mechanics are things Beagle has been wishing for quite a awhile) I find that hard to believe.

I'd stake my money on a LW2 campaign pretty hard tomorrow, which I know isn't that bold, but I am tentatively looking forward to it.

Guys, i think Long War 2 is too hard for me.

If an inactive pod sees another pod in an active firefight, or hears a frag grenade detonate, they will go into "yellow alert" allowing them certain abilities and attacking if they reveal on their turn
