Also a tip for your oil filter, stab a screwdriver thru it and use it for leverage to get the filter off.

different insurance laws cause price differences from state to state, at least in the US. For example, Michigan has no-faullt insurance laws, which means rates are fucking stupidly high.

It depends.
A weekend rider, a road tripper, and a commuter all need different shit. Anyone with basic planning skills should be able to figure it out for themselves. Just get some pelican cases if you need more storage, and make sure you can fit a bungee net on the passenger seat

I always bring water, a disk lock and a bungee net in my top case, which also fits my helmet.
On small nice weather days I also have my proper camera, gopro and work clothes with me.

Thats pretty cheap good bike and dosent look that bad but parts arent that abundant. Try looking for a suzuki bandit/katana those can be found for cheap and were in production untill 2007-8 and parts are cheap and everyware.

I've actually changed my mind, I was just given an old end can from a guy who races an NC30. I think I just had the winter blues, I felt a lot better with the bike after I went out for a bit of blast with my father. I'll have to just save up for a 2stroke another day.
