newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/cto/5948496954.html

I can't be assed to search craigslist again but there was a 1988 celica with 200k miles for 14,000. I don't know what the boomer was thinking.

sounds like it was a Toyota Celica All Trac.

Still not worth $14k tho even if it was taken of for all 200k miles

>thirty five thousand real american dollars
>FOR THE SHITTY U.S. SPEC E36 M3
>NOT EVEN A LTW

>'99 BMW E36 M3

longisland.craigslist.org/cto/5957932245.html

yeah its pretty sad but the thing is its not a beaten to shit E36 M3 which most american E36 M3's are.

2005 Subaru STI with ove 80k miles on it, only $17.5k

dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/cto/5992499439.html

It was not. It was a convertible automatic

I can't find it again because no where in the add does he mention it's a celica. All caps add too.

How much rust do you think is hiding underneath this one?
flint.craigslist.org/cto/5992118634.html

$33K

No

keep it

Want.

>Maserati

even with a manual transmission that car is straight garbage.

it didnt come with a manual you maymay spewing faggot.

>semi-auto ≠ manual

...

damn what a car . . . .
buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/5990430604.html

I might actually consider getting this

erie.craigslist.org/cto/5954243743.html

>he thinks the ratings of a car are representative of how it aged
>if a car was good at one point in time, it is god tier at every other point in time

this is exactly the type of retardation on Veeky Forums we need to get rid of.

please kill yourself and any blood relatives of yours.

hey kid..

want to buy my rust bucket for 4grand?
cnj.craigslist.org/cto/5992585912.html

Kinda want this
losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/5967974378.html

Am I supposed to be impressed with those ratings?

check forums you dumbfuck thats where youll find how shitty those cars truly are.

even If it was around $10k chances are you won't be able to afford the maintenance.

>4k
>rust bucket
>not a 71

I'd buy this. You could part out the shittier one and have a good amount of your money back.

This ad made me laugh

tampa.craigslist.org/hil/cto/5984410114.html

>The black one is a 74 and was origianly a 360 console shift car but that one has no motor or trans. Its missing the 2 front seats and parts of the console its basicly just a shell and that one has alot of rust but it does have a CLEAN title.

wha?

Not a missing or salvage title, so you can switch the VIN plates onto a car in better condition if that one has no title and you don't care about breaking that particular law.

Rear seat, dash, remaining console parts, glass, steering wheel, rear end, suspension, body panels, etc.

People will buy any part that isn't completely fucked.

kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/ottawa/2004-toyota-corolla-le-sedan/1234123141?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

Is this a good car for commuting to school? I can work on the car myself so repair costs on smaller things aren't an issue.

Not looking for fun, just a-b without major issues.

>a good car for commuting
>toyota

duhhh

but that car has a lot of millage

214,000KM is a lot? Thats 128,000 miles

I thought thats fairly low for a corolla

LOL good find user

Yeah it is they probably thought that was miles

>1986 Toyota Corolla Levin
>62k miles
>$13k

tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/cto/5952195330.html

I would buy one and never drift it, I would drive it like a civilized person.

Why not get a tercel coup and put in a 4age then? An outdated Corolla won't be more enjoying as a commuter

>1985 Toyota Corolla GTS

1999 Saturn Sl1 Sedan
107K miles
$1350

Buying a first car, not picky about looks.

My dad used to have a similar Saturn that was extremely reliable, not sure if it's a common feature of these models.

well go and take a look

I have a saturn SW2 220k miles on it.

Extremely comfy and fun to drive

would recommend/10

>$3k

and to top it off this loser lives in Bridgeport.

newhaven.craigslist.org/cto/5983320100.html

>CAD$3.5K
>2006 GT
>135K km
Is 50K km less on the odometer worth CAD$2.5K more despite the cheaper car being the GT trim?

There's also this Mazda3 that's cheap with only 100k km
carpages.ca/used-cars/ontario/scarborough/2007-mazda-mazda3-2337094/
>CAD$3.5K
>2007 GS
>95K km

I'll be looking at these cars soon for rust, and it'll be my first used car. Are there just some things that are apparent with the pictures alone? The $6K car looks clean but is that really indicative of good maintenance (hopefully consistent rustproofing) or just the dealer cleaning it up.

Have you had any issues with finding parts since Saturn went out of production?

just found this, lol

...

quality

greenville.craigslist.org/cto/5971132673.html
is it bad guys
i keep getting a bit afraid bc my dads bombarding me with "vws are pricey to repair" and other shit like that
should i just walk away now, im a test drive and a mechanics visit away from buying it

Who the fuck would buy this

>2k for that shitbox

Volkswagen's are shit but that one in particular is DEF shit. stay away

instead buy one of these.

this goes to show you what kind of filthy & autistic neckbeard this guy is

I emailed him telling him a junkyard would give him $250 for it and he said it already has a deposit down and it's sold.

Sold to a retarded, I mean lucky, new owner.

he lowered it to 1.8k
i just want an enjoyable car to drive that wont shaft me a short time later

>newyork.craigslist.org/brk/cto/5991670395.html

damn
it really does
i wonder how much rust it has

If I buy this how much do you think I'll have to spend on repairs and stuff?
NY insurance is gonna be at least a grand
Really wish I wasn't a poorfag student

you wont enjoy driving that trust me.

buy the miata. cheaper to insure better aftermarket. and actually fun to drive

its worth checking out.

desu most likely its fine just check for rust obv

the reason its not priced high is due to the mileage but if it has been maintained than the mileage doesnt matter and its a great buy for you or anyone else who gets it.

>If I buy this how much do you think I'll have to spend on repairs and stuff?

repairs on what? Miata maintenance is dirt cheap use google you fucking idiot.

>will crank on first turn of the key

Even cars that don't work will do that.

go check it out
come back and post potential probs

Random question
Would a 1/2 drive ratchet (maybe 11in) be small enough to do engine work, basically as an only ratchet? Or is 3/8 really needed

For cars older than early 2000s

up.craigslist.org/ctd/5993173129.html
this shits 800 at a used car dealership, I'm broke as fuck and don't know much about cars. What are the chances this thing brakes down a week after i buy it?

It seems like a lot can go wrong with the 20+ year old ones

Opinions on the older SLKs and Z3s?
