Reminder that you can only go through new game cycles for so long before tired of stomping the same AI enemies over and over again, and having actual human players come into your world is a thrilling experience that injects life into the game, as well as the preparations you have to make for fending off such invaders.
If the PvP is dogshit, the game's only good for a few playthroughs. One of the few reasons I have hundreds of hours in every game except for 3.

Thinking of respecing my utterly useless Int build in DS2 for hexes because DLC bosses and most enemies are strong against magic, apparently. I'm at Sinh after trudging through Sunken King and Iron King and it's torture.

Does 30int/30fth sound good? Would the damage output be at all decent? Even with access to some miracles?

The Cainhurst way is one of nostalgia and bombast. Their queen has been portrayed as a knight in fanart and presumably, in the in game portraits. Since the Cainhurst's Vilebloods greatest and signature weapon is the Chikage, a Katana-Sabre Hybrid, it's safe to assume that if Annalise ever saw battle, she was wielding one of those.

Well, the Nameless King took his swordspear with him. The armor probably uses some backup weapons that he once had. Also, it's being controlled by the pilgrim butterflies, so its fighting style is different.

Since Nameless King is a god of war, he probably masters multiple weapons. The one he uses in the Peak is probably just the one he likes the most.

The frame issues on DS1 comes from the fact that it's a port of a game originally released on PS3. If you can even run DS1, 2 and 3 will run smooth as a butter compared to that on optimization alone.

The thing is, paired weapons are one weapon from a coding point of view. Their 2h form is just the dual wield move.
Pontiff's swords are two separate weapons. At best you could swap their models into tracers's ones

yeah sure. but if you're going to use dark as your main damage, you need to be eventually looking at 40/40 or even 50/50 (for high meta levels). remember that your damage scales with the lowest of those stats

By the way, it probably wont be possible to do both GSoJ and PUGS together for the tracer moveset. the spinning relies on the weapon art of the first weapon but you can't do the weapon art if you are holding both weapons
